Here's Rasta Dog opening his gift...
He's so funny with it; it grunts and he's figured out how not to pop the 'grunter'. Every time a cat gets within 5 feet of it, he grabs it and holds it between his paws. And he takes it to bed with him every night!

Nope! We didn't know what she was in the beginning. But after much searching, we discovered that she is in fact a rare dark-eyed clear parakeet. She's actually bigger than a traditional parakeet and slightly smaller than a love-bird or pocket parrot. She actually weighs more than my father's cockatiel! :lol:

We got her a week after our baby parakeet died 5 years ago. I didn't want another bird because I was too upset. But my mother came home with this "surprise" a week later. She said she saw this little yellow baby sitting there and had to have her. I couldn't warm up to her at first. First of all, she has almond shaped eyes instead of traditional round ones and when she was a baby, they were very pronounced--kind of freaked me out.

I just kept calling her "new bird" for a while. But then, she became my baby. Since I've been with her almost 24/7 for the past 5 years, she is a major part of my life and I don't know what I'd do without her.

Sorry to ramble...Just had a bad nite with her. She got into the ham glaze! Spent the nite de-sticking her wing feathers. (Actually, it's funny now...But earlier...Bad news!!!) :lol:

This is the only time I can really type anything on here! The Egg loves to eat her treat seed (which inevitably ends up inside the keyboard) and sit on the keyboard while I type. But it's kind of hard to do when she takes up half of the damn thing! It also gets funny when she sits on keys and they press down. She's been known to scroll down a page or two in her time!!! :rotfl:




I love 'pot roast'! I thought that title was very fitting!!! :D

I bought the video camera with the night vision on it for the sole reason of catching these things on tape. Pathetic? Why yes, yes it is. :T

However, I've gotten quite a few orbs on tape. The freakiest is when you are watching the monitor at the same time one goes across the screen! Then it's like, "ok, I'm outta here!!!" :lol:

Sparticus. I always wanted a Pug dog named Sparticus!!! I've never seen a guinea pig with that coloring before...too cute.

And Spike...I had picked out a dwarf hamster in a store and named him Spike. (I couldn't take him home.) But everytime I refer to him, I still call him Spike. :D

I'm not real sure. She belonged to the neighbors, they had her spayed and de-clawed, then decided to throw her outside "because she vomited too much and her litter box was too stinky." I told them to feed her a better quality food and not the cheapest food they could find; but they wouldn't. After moondog and I watched her stay outside for a time, we asked them if we could have her. It took awile, but she's ours now. I've got her on a decent food, and she goes out during the day (per her insistance), and comes in at night. The only problem we have with her is that she refuses to accept the other cats. I've tried everything I can think of for the last 3 years, but it's not happening. So she stays upstairs and seems very content to do so.
And as for 'her tree', she can't climb it herself without claws. So she'll come and ask me to put her up there, and then she has a grand time running up and down the branches, batting at leaves and sticks, sleeping, scaring the birds, and pi$$ing off the squirrels.

One of the 2 cats I don't have a picture up of I rescued up at school. She just appeared around our dorms one night and came back every day and night after that as well... She's a beautiful calico and a total goofball of kitty love... To the point where I have to push her away if I want any sleep! She was even a joy on the 2 HOUR ride home in the car! I have some pictures somewhere, I have to get the other two up here!

I have to keep Rasta away when Moon catches mice. He wants to help sooo bad, and he could accidently slap Moon instead of the mouse with those huge feet of his.

They did before I took out the carpet. A couple of times sliding upside down into the furniture took care of that. Now outside is a different matter.........:lol:

Thank You All for your kind words about my Sweety Baby, (that's his other name). He is the smartest cat I've ever had; (I've had a lot of kitties), and I just love him sooo much! He's 13 now....

One of Egg's favorite spots is my keyboard. Either one, the laptop or the big one. She sits and "sucks" on her treat seeds and looks at the screen moving.

When she realized that she can make it scroll, I almost went blind! She loves to sit on the keys until something happens.

Unfortunately, it's usually when I come here during the day and I'm trying to type!!! The sound of the keys clicking "calls" to her and she flies up and starts to tap on the keys herself! :rotfl:

Although, she also likes to chase the mouse pointer on the screen too!!! :p

What Egg likes to do is take big chunks of oatmeal out of her bowl and take them someplace else to eat it. However, if you're not looking, she WILL sit on the glass or mug that you happen to be drinking out of and dump some in there. We swear she's trying to dunk! :lol:


Yesterday was funny. She loves to go into my shirt and just sit there. I was trying to work on my laptop and I had this little lump going back and forth along my stomach.

When my mother came home and asked where the baby was, I just pointed to my belly and suddenly it started moving like the scene from "aliens"!!!

I live a strange, strange life. :p
