Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone can do a reading for me, I just want to know if this guy that I really like and I are going to get together. I think I just need a kick in the butt and a little confidence to talk to him about it, and I think if a reading comes out postive I will get that kick I need. So please, anyone......

I have to do the family thing for awhile this evening Saphra, but I'll be happy to do one late tonight or in the morning.

Okay Saphra, I used my Hanson-Roberts deck, and drew my usual three cards to get an overall picture of the situation. What I got were the World, the 9 of Pentacles, and the 8 of Wands. Considering that this is a relationship reading it tells me a lot.

The World is interesting - it was the first card I drew, and I wasn't sure I trusted it, so I shuffled and drew again - and there it was again. For me this is a card that says the sky's the limit. The potential for whatever you want is certainly there. But it comes with a caution - what you think you want is not necessarily what you want. One thing that strikes me with this deck is that there is a beautiful woman at the center, but she is surrounded by the symbols of the four elements/ four evangelists, whatever take you want on them. Anyway, to me this is you surrounded by several men and I get the sense that under the skin more than one of them may be interested in you, and that this could create an interesting situation for you. Ultimately you will be happy with the outcome, but I think things may take unexpected twists and turns. This doesn't mean that your specific interest isn't interested back - in fact, it looks likely, but there's more going on with you in the group dynamic than you think or see.

The 9 of Pentacles also has multiple meanings, but I take two here - first, that you are confident enough on your own that you may seem less approachable than you think you do. It wouldn't hurt you to open up a little bit more with the guy you like, to take a few risks with him. And your confidence in yourself may scare him a bit.
The flipside of that is that the 9 of Pentacles also symbolizes an ideal wife/girlfriend/significant other. The girl who can pretty much take it all in stride, and who is all the things one wants - sort of the baby version of the Empress.

The third card is the 8 of Wands - meaning things are going to start happening at a rapid pace - perhaps faster than you want. It can also suggest comminications, perhaps the opportunity to finally talk honestly with this guy about what you feel. I think there will be a lot of "stuff" going on around the two of you that will be both frustrating and rewarding, but combined with the World card, I think you need to keep focused on what's going on around you. The opportunity is there, but there's so much energy around you that you could well find yourself carried away on someone else's tide, so to speak, if you don't keep your wits about you.

My final caveat in this is just a sense that in the process of getting together with this guy you or the two of you don't alienate the rest of the group. You might be surprised by who and how you could hurt.

This may not be precisely what you were looking for - I know with this sort of reading you want to see the Ace of cups or something - but I do think there's some real promise there, based on what the cards suggest. Go for it.

Thank you sooooo much Azure, that actually helped more than you know. Now all I need to do is grow some balls and talk to him. ~huggles to Azure~

Well, I drew some more cards last night, but it was after a reading I did for myself, and isuspect that it was just a continuation of that reading, so I'm going to wait till this afternoon and focus on you again then.

I do have this piece of advice - the one thing that made sense from what I got in relation to you - start to see yourself as the Queen of Wands - no, no, not a blue-eyed blonde or redhead or a fire sign *laughs* - I mean as a very assertive woman who can make a path for herself in the world. The Queen of Wands is also very sensual - very aware of her attractiveness and her ability to negotiate sexuality on her own terms. The message is that you've been hiding your light under a bushel for too long here - a bit of self assurance will go a long way in the situation, as will paying attention to how attractive you can be. Don't tone yourself down and be "just one of the guys" right now, even if you guys are still at the friend stage. Keep reminding him you're more than deserving of his attentions without having to sit him down and tell him that. Just turn on your natural charm.

Okay, Saphra, pulled three new cards for you this evening, and what I got were:

1) The Four of Swords - in the Robin Wood deck this is a very peaceful card - it reminds me of Snow White or Sleeping Beauty, dreaming of worse than she will actually get when she wakes, and awaiting the Prince to wake her. Of course, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty didn't get off easy. Even once the Prince wakes you from your sleep, you have to adjust to a brave new world than the one you went to sleep having. You know the musical "Into the Woods" - in it, another fairy tale heroine marries her Prince, but she can't adjust to living in his world and eventually leaves him, sadder but wiser. The lesson of the four of Swords is not only to relax and let go to bring your dreams, but to realize that dreams and realities are different things, and both should be regarded with open eyes as well as closed.

2) The Three of Wands - a very fortunate card - you've invested and worked, and now your ship is coming in. The only problem is, you don't know when. It could arrive tonight - or a week from now, or a month. You get the picture. But the card suggests to me that you are moving in the right direction, and there is much potential here as long as you don't push it - give it natural time to grow, and what you sent out will can return when it's good and ready.

3) The Six of Wands - a card that always heralds success coming your way. So simply take note of the above - things don't always happen exactly when we want them, and be careful what you wish for. But caveats aside, it looks extremely promising if you don't let yourself get stressed out by the fact that things are proceeding slowly rather than providing instant outcomes. I think slow and stead very much wins the race, according to this reading.
