First let me say this, I LOVE this place. Next, let me say I'm all over the place in my head right now, so I hope I make sense and I appologize in advance for any confusion.

Back to loving this place. I have identified as "pagan" almost all my life. I am a voracious reader. Also my parents raised me to be very open-minded and to "CHECK YOUR FACTS"! We were not allowed "they say." So I learned to research at an early age. I've been to all manner of Christian churches, Jewish and Buddhist temples (and varying kinds of Buddhist), pagan rites, you name it. I said all that to say I have learned more in the short period of time I've been here than in all my years of reading and research! The majority of people are so insightful and intelligent.

Well, because everyone is so insightful when I read a post I usually think of another question that is seems (to me) to be just different enough that if I post in that thread I feel like I'm hijacking it. What do I do?

Also, I'm growing in my path and not sure where to start. The best I can say is I know what I'm not, lol. I've got many questions/comments about it. Where do I post.

Sorry for my randomness! And thank everyone in advance for reading/replying.

I usually just ask it anyway and most people seem to answer. I quite like threads that wind around a little and are more informal - the ones on the pantheist forum go all over place lol. Glad you found the links helpful, btw

eta: with the path questions - I'm sure others will have good advice on these - if it was me, I would have a look at the path specific forums and ask non-general specific questions which are easier to answer. Or perhaps, just expand on your situation on this thread? I've seen similar threads like that.

If I feel like it's too far from the topic (or I don't want to risk it being ignored) I will start a new topic. I also keep a notebook, where I write down any questions I may have so that I can research them more... both here, on the web and in books.

No question is too stupid, really. And all of us were learning at some point.

ETA: On the Path question - I am one who has spent the last few years stumbling from path to path. I haven't found what fits just right yet; and consider myself eclectic but seeking... I have spent a lot of time recently lurking in the path specific forums here, and have a few that really interest me and I want to learn more about. Sometimes I ask a question there, sometimes I PM someone who seems knowledgeable. So far, no one has bitten my head off ;) They've all been polite and answered any questions I have.

Best of luck!
