Brendan Myers is a professor of philosophy at Heritage College, Quebec, Canada; he is also the author of several critically-acclaimed books and many articles on such topics as environmentalism, mythology, folklore, social and political values, Celtic culture and heritage, and Aboriginal spirituality. They have been used by college professors; social activist groups; interfaith groups; Celtic cultural associations, and even humanist societies, in many countries around the world. Brendan has appeared as a guest in numerous magazines, podcasts, and radio shows (including Americaís NPR). He is the 2008 recipient of OBODís prestigious Mount Haemus award for research in Druidry. Originally from a small town in Ontario, Canada, he earned his Ph.D in philosophy from NUI Galway (Ireland), and has worked as a university lecturer, a government researcher, a musician, a labour union leader, an environmental activist, and a simple country gardener.
