I totaled my car on a steep grade. Snow & Ice... i started spinning out and my little piece of tin foil is now totaly dead. i coulda been too. Almost tumbled down the mountain (no guard rails). Sheet... i wasn't speeding!
Now I don't have a place to stay close to work either. (I live a 45 min. drive away... in good weather). I wouldn't step into a domestic fight unless he hit her... don't understand people.
Christmas sucks rear this year.
My fiance is going to jail in 4 days... and I haven't been able to see him for a week (lack of car).
I don't think anyone around here aside from adam understands just how damn traumatic that wreck has been. And I still have to work. At least I still have a job.
Anybody think I have bad luck?

The couple of times I was in car accidents, and nothing near as dangerous as yours, I was freaked for a few days too- playing the what if" game. Being that you need a car to work and survive, makes it that much harder. I hope you have insurance that will cover some of the damages and hopefully rental insurance too.
And nope, I don't think you have bad luck. If you did, you would have gone over that mountain. And I am glad you didn't. *soft smile and gentle hug*

chryssi1 - I didn't mention that I didn't have either insurance or registration. It's about a 3grand ticket.
Thank you everyone for the good thoughts. The hardest part is finding a place to stay every night. I've been 'couch sitting' a lot. It's even more difficult to find a place to stay where the houshold isn't composed of tweakers.

No, not bad luck, just the thing that you'd probably want to smack me for saying......"Another step on your journey, something to learn from and grow from, and you'll be stronger when it's over........, sometimes things have to be destroyed so that new things can come in to your life, etc."
And you're doing fine. You know that you at least have a job. Do whatever you can to pamper yourself - trauma is serious no matter how small it seems, and seek support from those who love you.

Go ahead Eudaimonia - smack her! Frejya! Ya know I love ya!
But she's right *dodges smack* It's not easy but sometimes we are awakened by a jolt instead of a gently nudge. Like she said do what you can to pamper yourself. Take care of yourself. Let your Honey worry about jail time as you've got to take care of you right now. We will all do what we can by sending you energy and keeping you (and your Honey) in our prayers.

Thank you so much! here's an update. I found a car for sale, and I'm buying it tommorow!!! I'm also selling mine for $250 on Saturday... the engine, tranny, etc are all still good.
Furthermore, I'm making final plans for moving to Eureka! As soon as Adam gets his probation transfered, we'll be going! I'm jazzed about the prospects. It's about time to get out of this small town. I'll also have tax returns coming, so I ought to have a little to start on.
Gee... anyone here from Eureka or Arcata?

California.
The car runs like a dream for the price. It's moldy, but I can clean.
Does anyone know of some good cleansing rituals or ideas for when I do? I'll post is on the Magick forum also.
