a snake in the forest..symbol?

I met a snake! A wonderful snake!!

Yesterday, a few minutes after I called the Goddess and asked her for a little "sign" I met a small but beautiful snake out in the forest. I was absolutely mesmerized when I saw it, coz it was the first time I've seen such an animal (in nature).
Do you believe in signs like this? And if yes, what do you think it could mean?

Eeewww. I dislike snakes, but I "met" one too when I was clearing some rocks in my sacred space yesterday. Yuck.

But this is about you! Yes, I would say that this was the sign you asked for. As far as what it means - I can't say, but I believe that you know the answer deep inside of you. What did you ask for a sign for?

I think that is just wonderful...I own a snake...but would be petrified if I saw one in the wild (too much crocodile hunter!!!) :) I think it was definately a sign from the goddess....unless you asked for a sign about something specific...I would say that it's a sign that She is listening to you!! I'm sure you knew that already...but maybe She sent you your sign to reinforce your beliefs in your mind.....I would feel totally blessed if I were you!! I think that's just wonderful....I probably would have cried if that happened to me....:)

There is probably a good reason for seeing the snake!It sounds like it could be your animal totem!!

I didn't cry, but screamed out as I almost stepped on the poor little animal. What a luck it moved just in the second I lifted my foot.

I didn't ask for a specific sign, I just plead her to give a little gesture, because I haven't been "contacted" for a long time now, and I still haven't found my personal Goddess (well, if that's possible at all...)
