How do I post gifs with my signature?

I know I posted this once befor, but I seem to have lost it. He he. Oh well.

I would like to put some gifs with my signature, but I can't get it to work. Any help out there?

You can't post gifs in sigs. Only smilies. I believe it's a bandwith deal. If all of us started posting gifs, the servers would go crazy!

But smilies...NO problem.. :D

Umm.. the smiles are gifs, and lots of people have them in their Sigs.

I cant post more than the one that shows up at the top. How do you put more than one? like here><?

Yes, I understand that the smilies are gif files. But they are the only ones allowed...That's what I meant. :)


As for the other question, when you post a reply, look to the left of the screen and there should be a little box with smilies in it. (If not, you need to go to your profile page and check the 'options' and see if you have smilies activated.

In the little box, there are 10 smilies that you can just click on to show up in your post, or you hit the "get more" link and a box with all of the smilies will show up. You can either copy and paste the command or just click on the smilie you want and they will insert themselves in your post. Note: They insert themselves in the bottom of the post, not just where your cursor is.

When you put them in your sig, you need to type in the command for the smilie you want, you can't just click on the smilie box for that. :D

You must have a different set up then me. The smiles box is above the text box and there are 14 gifs 7 are smiles and I dont see a "Get more" option?

Those aren't the smilies I was talking about. You may have to go to your profile page, like I mentioned above, to activate your smilies.

You go to the profile page, then to "edit options" and there will be an option to activate smilies. Once you do that, the smilie box (on the left) will show up.

I don't seem to have that option. Looked at "Edit Options" no "Activate Smiles." Suggestions?
