Natal Charts

I have a rather puzzling question. Most of the books I have read about astrology deal with the US and the zones here. Most of the books have also left me completely and totally confused. I was looking online for someone to do a natal chart for me, but I don't know if any of their credentials are any good. Seeing as I don't want to spend my hard earned money on a hack, I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions? I was born in Wurzburg Germany. Not in the good ole US. (Army brat here) Since I was born in Germany, I'm clueless of how to do my own chart. And frankly find it too difficult to comprehend. AGHHHH! Anyway, any suggestions on reputable places to go or people to do my chart would be helpful.

you can calculate your natal chart online for free at astrodienst. Their website is: http://www.astro.com/
There is also lots of shareware software you could download for free if you wanted to search for it.

Ok I'm an Aries with Capricorn Ascendent. Now I have to figure out what the heck that means. AAAGH!!!!! Pulling hair out of head and tossing in a big pile on the floor.:confused:

Jazzmine, the link provided to you will tell you a lot about meaning of your Sun sign and your Ascedent..

But, I'll give you a little insight.. Sun sign represent your basic structure of your personality, and in your case that's Aries.. Fire sign, hunter, optimistic, the one who fights for his ideals, childish, egotistical, with big heart, a lot of friends, enjoys admiration, always in action.. Aries is the "hottest" fire sign of all. Aries is a child of spring and therefore considered as sign of new beginnings.

Ascedent represent how you appear on the outside, how you present your self to your environment. Capricorn here greatly calms down fire of Aries. So, even though underneath you are a vulcano, you appear rather calmed, sometimes even reserved. People perceive you as determined person who knows what she wants, but is not running (like Aries would do) do get it. You can apper stuborn at times. You have feelings, but they are cover underneath and you try more focusing on logical thinking than emotional.

Ok, that would be all that I can pull from my mind right now.. You can also read about sun signs and than incorporate them in the meaning of each planet..

Sun: your basic personality structure. Everything else is build up to this structure.

Moon: your inner emotions and wishes. Your personal desires that are know just to you (or sometimes they can be even unconsious), you relation to your home, family..

Mercury: your mind (the way you think) and your ability to communicate your thoughts to others.

Venus: romance, your way how you relate to others in both romantic and "friend - to - freind" relationships. Your values. Your relationhship with Art, how you perceive it, what you like. Also, it relates to how you dress.

Those are Inner planets who determine your peronality..

There are also Outer planets who are determinants of your destiny, ability for transformation, etc, but they don't really build your personality.

Thank you sooo much. That was really good. My personality is almost what you described to a T. It was very helpful. How long did it take you to learn all that stuff? I'll have to check it out in my Sun Sign and Moon Sign 2003 books. I'll also have to go back to that site.

I've been reading about astrology and learning it for about 7 years. I'm not doing it professionally, though. I don't know how to calculate planets and signs using a books, but I know how to interpret it.

Well, yes, but it's more than just interpreting Planets and signs in them. There are also Houses, and than relationships among different planets.. So far I mastered characteristics of each sign and meanings of each planet and interpreting different signs in different planets.

Houses I'm starting to learn, but I don't know that too well.
