can others see your circle?

Ok so I've been wondering about this for a while (ever since first reading to Stir a Magic Cauldron by SRW). When you're working magic with someone else present can they see the circle you cast in detail? SRW went on for a while about how some of her friends cast these amazing circles for instance one that looks and feels like whipcream. Now really...I know that most witches and magicians will feel the presence of a circle cast by someone else and some will see it but is it possible to see the little personalized touches that someone adds to circle casting? Seems a little far fetched. I've only ever worked solitary so I've never had a chance to test it.

I think it depends on how openminded and into the ritual you are. The further I go in my practises the more real things are becoming to me, but it's taken a long time. The last time we created ritual space my boyfriend read aloud the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram and we all (4 of us in total) visualized doing it. It was mostly felt but very visualized in the end, but I would have said we could see it. I think it's about how willing your mind is to accept what your mind's eye sees as real. Did that make ANY sense?

You both make sense, actually. I focus on visualizing a blue light around circle and can feel that energy more than I can see it. I've only been outside circle once and again, while I couldn't "see" the circle with my eyes, I felt its presence. I'd tend to think that it depends on our individual styles, skills, abilities and preferences as to whether we experience this or not.

I bought Cauldron a while back and have never read it all the way through....could you educate me as to where this is in the book?
