View Full Version : My intuition has gone insane it seems..

I've always been very intuitive, but it seems as of late that I've crossed over from being occasionally intuitive and good at reading people to right on the money, scaring myself silly, and being ridiculous at predicting events/actions.
I think this is wonderful, but I'm wondering how far I can take it and I can get out of this? Also if there is a way of harnessing and improving these skills? I seem to be all over the place, and am not always so confident of whether it's intuition or paranoia - it's usually intuition!
I'm not sure where to go from here. Any advice would be most appreciated!

Go where you like with it. Take it to whatever extent you feel comfortable with. I personally don't make much use of good intuition because a) on some level, I'm afraid of being wrong, and b) if I'm right, that fact only becomes apparent far after the fact bcuz people think I'm being petty, crazy, or whatever other excuse you can come up with to stifle a person.
If you've had good luck with it, I say run with it. If you feel comfortable with it, then there's literally no limit to how far you can go.

I find meditation and visualization are always good for practicing and exercising psychic skills.
Try getting into a very relaxed or meditative state and visualizing a situation you want to know more about. Concentrate on the details. Go over and over it; maybe write down everything you remember when you are finished. Let your intuition guide you and test the results as time goes by.
Be sure to pay attention to any "wrong" signals you are getting as you might recognize a pattern or realize what things distract you.

For sure! You'd be surprised at what throws you off.
I'm totally with Cassie on the meditation recommendations as well.
I'm always more on the ball when I'm taking time out to centre myself.

My intuition in the workplace was so spot on in regards to what people were up to, who was staying and who was going, and events in general, that I started spooking a couple of my west indian workmates. One, a Guyanese guy started calling me a "Obeah Man." After a while I figured it was best to keep stuff to myself. I have a bad enough reputation at work as it is with just being pagan. You'd think I was Satan in the flesh, jeez! :goodgrief
Little do they know, it's just plain experience and common sense.

Thanks for all the advice you guys! I'm going try my hand at mediation, and see what I can garner from it.
Are there any books out there that have been helpful for any of you in regards to opening things like this?
