While at the Spirit Fest here I aquired a new deck called the Elemental Deck. It is very vivid to me and as soon as I laid eyes on it I knew it was for me. The deck was made by Caroline Smith and John Astrop. I will try to get some pictures for everyone.

sounds cool.. I just purchased the Thoth deck yesterday because I was so intriqued with the card posted on this site. ...this is going to require time and study!!!

Hehee! Me too. I think I have 10 right now, though I only use one. :) The others are just collected for artwork value.

I too recently aquired a new deck, the mythic tarot. It is interesting as the book that comes with it has a unique perspective and some of the ideas make reading way easier. It basicly folows the understanding that the Tarot depicts a progression through life, whether long term or short, nature and our lives follow cycles and therefore it is no different with the Tarot. Thus the fool as a newborn must journey through the cards to acheive the end result. Another thing I like about this deck is the art work which is based on the greek pantheon of gods and goddesses. All in all a nice deck. I also have and use the Dragon Tarot (Big suprise there huh?)

Keep in mind that the Thoth deck..is..um...special. And it will frustrate you to no end until it finally clicks. I dont know this by personal experience only by feeling.

I love a good mystery...keeps the "grey cells" working! :) I'm looking forward to really getting into the Thoth deck in the next couple of weeks...I'll keep you posted on any insights and maybe we can compare notes?!

Absolutely...start a Thread like I did about the Elemental Deck and lets start learning...I can even dig up the Pictures for you...
