Merry Meet Everyone :)

I registered with this site soooo long ago, but haven't posted here for months and months.

Confession time........ I started on my "pagan" path about 3 years ago, and at first the attraction was the nature based aspects of the "religion" that caught my attention. I've never met another pagan, I just knew the more I read the more I knew that this was where I felt comfortable.

Over time I started to get confused with all the different paths, choosing gods and goddesses, casting circles etc so I kinda left it all alone for a while.

One of my new years resolutions was to start again with my reading and studying which path I might choose......... can anyone make any suggestion of things to read. Like I said I love nature, I have a strong connection with the moon (I feel like I get energy from it) and I'm the original animal lover.

I'm ready now (you know you get those feelings!!) to continue on my path, but would love some friendly advice please :)

You seem like you are on the right Path already!: animal lover, Nature lover, Moon lover...perfect! My suggestion is to be open to new suggestions and ideas and read all you can about everything. This seems like a UU (Unitarian Universalist) approach, but it's how I've come to where I am today. However, reading and watching other people is about 2% of what you should really do. Therefore, my true advice would be to just be where you're happiest: in Nature, under the full Moon, with the beautiful, pure creatures of the world! That's where you'll find true happiness and peace. Climb a tree and just listen to what Nature has to say. Believe me, if you're listening and you have what it takes, She'll talk. Just be open-minded about that, too.

The path you've taken so far sound very similar to mine!! I left it alone for almost a year tho, just to sort out my feelings and now im back with more knowledge and understanding, because I know this is the right path for me... I talk about myself far too much :p

I have to agree fullheartedly with Psyche Ague, listening is a very powerful thing, you'll be amazed at what you learn, that is in no book, or website
