Hello all. My OH and I will be moving to a new place in 3 weeks' time. It's friggin' awesome and I think there are fairies in the garden (but that's another thread entirely lol). Anyway the crowning glory of our new house is a BIG converted attic. I mean, the ceiling isn't very high (it's a sloped ceiling...like, the ceiling is triangular iykwim. Picture a toblerone bar!) but the overall area is massive. I've always wanted to have a sort of Moroccan/hippy themed chillout room for smoking, drinking, listening to music, etc, and this room seems like it's gonna be perfect.

But what bothers me is that A) we're renting so we can't make any MAJOR adjustments and B) Moroccan-style stuff seems to be really expensive!

Also, the spare bed is gonna have to go in the attic so that has to be incorporated.

What I've got in mind is lots of rugs on the floor and a patchwork spread on the bed so people can lounge...beanbags and floor cushions, and what I'd really like to do is somehow cover the walls in fabric...like, draped fabric? I don't know if anyone will get what I mean. I will attach a couple pictures for reference.

Does anyone know of any way to do this that won't massively mark the walls and ceiling?! And will be relatively cheap?! And not require any professional installations? X-D

Any ideas that you guys have for this room would be really cool. I'll post pictures when we move (couple of weeks) :)
