I did-- had to order it from the States (I'm in CAN), and it cost me $60 Cdn by the time it got here.

ANYWAY, I had seen it on an online reading website, liked some of the images (well.. I felt a connection to the cards on screen, and thought that they accurately depicted my life and what was going on... y'all know what I mean I hope..) They are erotic in nature-- which I kind of liked too.. well, found interesting, anyway.

But when I got the deck, I have to say, I was spooked. I found it scary and the cards I hadn't seen before were quite disturbing. Most of the pips are OK, but the court cards and most of the Majors are just plain... weird.. not what I really expected. I haven't really touched them since I got them-- I looked them over twice, and felt an overwhelming, disturbed feeling each time I went through them. Haven't done a reading yet... It's not the sexuality that bothers me-- that's one of the main reasons I got the deck. Some of the images though....

Spoke to my friend (a Tarot smarty cake), and she said although she's never seen them herself, she knows people who have, and they felt the same way about the deck... one lady thought about burning hers to get rid of them.

Bottom line here-- if you've see/own them, what are your thoughts?? Anyone have any advice as to what I should do with them (ie use them to get used to them, look for ways to get rid of them, keep them away somewhere until I might be ready to do something with them). Everything comes into your life for some reason, maybe I should just wait to see why these are here right now?? Also, I'm moving to QAustralia for a year. Should I leave them here, or maybe pack them away somewhere deep in my backpack?

Thanks for your input. A website with some of the cards: http://www.theblessedbee.com/taroteroticaL.html

SPECIAL NOTE: I'm not knocking the artist-- she has great talent and her creativity shines through in her work. I just get a weird vibe from the deck as a whole. This should serve as a poor reflection on her work.

I don't have the deck, but I looked at the site, and the artist definately talented... but if the deck creeps you out THAT much, I would not even touch it. I wouldn't get rid of it, tho, as it may have some purpose later, but I'd wrap it up and put it in a box somewhere where you won't have to look at it unless you want to.

Your deck should feel GOOD to you...not disturbing, in my opinion anyway.

I remember seing this deck before on another forum where such 'erotic' decks were being discussed. Personally, I do not like the style of the drawings, but to me, mere 'nudity' is not erotic.

If you are uncomfortable with the deck, put it in storage for awhile; it may have a future purpose for you. Perhaps you were originally drawn to it for the wrong reasons and those may work themselves out later.

I did buy two decks for Yule for myself - the Cosmic Tribe Tarot in which no human has a stitch of clothing on, but once agin, these are only naked people. The second deck is the Decameron tarot by Lo Scarabeo and it has nude people copulating all over it. Sexuality can be very erotic! But doing a reading where the characters are involved in 'insertive sex' can be very distracting.

Tarotbear,

I have the Decameron Tarot as well and I haven't been able to read with it since I bought it. My imagination starts to going and I can just see those scenes playing themselves out.... {going to take cold shower now....}
