Handfasting Update

Date: Sunday, February 2, 2003

Time: Midnight Saturday or 12:00 a.m. Sunday
I can't believe how confused everyone has been about
this...........Flar's mom and I agreed we probably couldn't
get him up and out of the house - or dressed - for a
daytime event.........

Place: At the home of a friend in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the
backyard Zen garden if it's warm enough (there are
about 25 witches working on influencing the weather
as we speak) or in the house in front of the fireplace
if it's cold.

Feasting at around 10:00 p.m. Saturday night, after the group Imbolc ritual to take place at 8:00 p.m.

Dress is being made, I think I have shoes, Flar's still deciding what to wear........

His mom and her co-worker are making my headpiece from lavender and rosemary.

Flar has an appointment for his hearing on the 28th of this month so he won't be able to say he didn't realize he was getting married..........

Silly woman, I am making it so you know its nothing too spectacular!! My mom actually gave me the idea.

I will find a way to be there. I will just have to look at the schedule tomorrow night and possibly trade a shift with someone...but I will not miss it even if I have to call in sick..cough, cough!!

Actually, Flar gets to deal with my changeling every new moon......

So far, the Guard's not shipping the kid off anywhere - please keep the energy going, there's still two weeks left - we've changed the time which resulted in actually moving it up a day so that Semele can be there - so below is a copy of the invitation. Tacky, I know - lack of time and money prevents fancy written ones from going out unless I can whip something up this week.

The Post Office appears to have lost my gown......and the cake person and I can't seem to stop playing phone tag......

Both of these things are stressful because the seamstress went ahead and made the gown in a more expensive fabric as a gift to us, and another friend is making the cake topper to look like us......
