This is a thread for psychics and sensitives to share experiences of premonitions they have had which seem to have actually happened at some future date.
Was what you saw in the form of an accurate vision or did you interpret something more symbolic? Did you impact or change what took place in any way?
(This thread is a place to share and learn from other people's experiences;- it is not intended as a place to criticize or cast doubt on the validity of such experiences).

I'm not sure if this would count but I had a dream where all the ditches were flooded. A few months after we got a lot of water, but the dike kept it out. They were considering evacuating, but then things cleared up.
This year we got 6 inches of water in about 6 hours, and all the ditches were flooded.

I keep a dream journal so bear with me:
Dream: 3/15/2006: standing by a burgundy car looking over the top of it at someone standing in front of a sign that says "Vegas"
Result: 6/19/2009: Went with my SO at the time to a pool hall, got out of the car and looked across the roof, he was standing in front of the sign blocking everything but the word "Vegas."
Dream: 4/18/2005: standing by a computer looking over a low brick wall across a room with high vaulted ceiling. Looking out the window on a view with lots of church steeples.
Result: 7/29/2007: First day on the new job at ***** Audio, talking to my new boss across a room divided by a low brick wall, turning to look at the view of South Boston, lots of church steeples.
Dream: 5/18/2004: in a hospital being held down my feet are higher than my head, there's blood everywhere my face is numb. Lots of yelling.
Result: 9/20/2009: In the ER for ectopic pregnancy, pass out in the emergency room, wake up surrounded by people yelling at me, my tongue and the left side of my face are numb, I have blood all over me from a botched blood draw.
There are a few others, but these are the clearest.

First some prefacing on the two premonition dreams I've had (which were minor and events that I can't see much significance to, but a major coincidence regarding the chance of something happening.).
Preface 1:
I never played video arcade games as a high schooler....computer games yes, but at arcade consoles no. Never. Never played pinball.
Dream 1:
A teacher of mine gave me money to play an arcade game. Other classmates were standing behind me.
Event 1:
A short time after the dream, it was announced that we'd go to a restaurant with a bowling alley as a treat for our senior trip. I'd never been there before nor heard of the place.
When we got there, there were video games and arcade games.
I hadn't brought money except for food, was bad at bowling, so was sitting at the sidelines.
Teacher (same one as in the dream) gives me a few dollars and tells me to go play some arcade games.
So I do, and classmates (at least one specifically the same as in the dream, dunno about the rest) were standing behind me.
---------------------------------
Preface 2:
My mom works for a university. Same one I went to as an undergrad.
I never babysit. And at the time I started college I didn't know it was possible for an 11 year old to have a bank account.
Dream 2:
I am standing in the back parking lot of where my mom worked at the time, and I am with the daughter of her coworker, who was about 11 at the time. She wanted to go to the bank and get some money out of her account, I said that was impossible as she was too young to have one.
Event 2:
I am visiting my mom at the office, done with classes for the day.
Coworker comes by, with 11 year old daughter. Asks if I can watch her for a few hours, go for a walk around campus, whatever (Me: mental deer-in-headlights look, but OK, whatever).
We do so. Go to library for a while, eventually head back.
Are in back parking lot behind office.
Her: Do you think we could go to the bank so I could get some cash for something to eat?
Me (Mentally: Deja-vu WTF moment, but kept this hidden): Lets go in and ask your mom.
----------------------
Other than that, there was the "impostor president" dream before Bush got "elected", in which someone did attempt to bomb something, strapping the bombs to crash test dummies in a theater or assembly.
And a few little weird things that got intertwined with 9/11, I'd have to check my journals to see when they started, it seems like before but it could be after.
Nothing else that I can think of offhand though. A couple of dreams that someone died that happened shortly after, but they were seriously ill and we knew they didn't have long even before I had the dreams, so I think those were just day to day concerns.

I've had dreams which have come true. I had the most number of premonitions as a child. There used to be this unwritten rule that after I got home from school I could watch TV until mum came home at 5 and then I'll get started on my homework. However, one day at 4:30 I felt this overwhelming wave of dark anger just pour over me and I knew that something must have happened to mum at work and she was probably stomping home livid. I quickly got up and scurried into my bedroom to get out of her way. She did come home half an hour later, extremely angry and she would have been more annoyed if the TV was on full blast.
Maybe that was a case of empathy, but I'm doubtful of this as I've never had experiences like that before.
My mum's premonitions come in the form of a sudden heart palpation in the middle of the night. She had two in the past few months and shortly after these, her possessions were stolen, a lawsuit was filed against her workplace and both her and my dad have developed symptoms that the doctor believe could be bowel cancer.

i have something like this happen to me all the time. i can spend 5 minutes or less talking to someone and know if we will get along with each other and i'll get a vision of what we will be like later on.
i will also sometimes get what people would call daydreams that come true within 3 months of me having them. they usually tend to be vague though.

I had dream that my wife was going to walk out on me. I remember the dream being very powerful (much more than any other dream I had) 4 weeks later the dream panned out exactly the way I saw it.
Now I'm getting dreams with similar power and energy about being in a relationship with another woman. But I don't know who she is but she has appeared in a number of dreams the last couple of weeks. So I will just have to wait and see if this one pans out.

I've had quite a few over the years, but my favorites were the first 2 I ever had. When I was a little girl, I was sitting in class and had a premonition of me and a tall, dark, and very handsome man kissing in front of a bay window looking out over the mountains. It came true a few years ago, when my ex-fiance and I stopped over in the mountains on the way down to Florida. The second one was of my daughter, who looks just like me but with blonde hair. She was just standing there looking at me and then all of a sudden said, "Hi Mommy!" I knew who her father was the second I met him. She to this day still gives me the same look she did in my premonition.:hahugh:

Sometimes I have dreams about politicians, and I wonder why the **** do I have them? Because what is the point in dreaming that, for example, a certain politician is going to have a heart attack? What am I supposed to do with that?

I've had many. These are the ones that stand out the most:
When I was about 3-4 years old, I told my mother of a dream I had (I still remember the dream).
I dreamed we were out side the front of our house, whilst my mother was doing some gardening. My sister and I were playing on the grass (she was about 18months - 2years old). My sister ran across the road just as a moving truck came around the corner. It dragged her under the truck and then the truck parked in our drive having dragged my sister under it - with the driver having not known any better.
Having being told this dream, my mother decided to pay a bit more attention whilst doing the gardening. My sister went a little too close to the road, so my Mother brought her back closer to the house. At that moment a moving truck came around the corner and pulled into our drive. It had the wrong house.
I have also predicted at least 4 deaths and I have predicted at least 3 pregancies before the mother has even known.
I have a 99% accuracy rate on predicting the gender of a child whilst in utero.
Using my crystal, I foretold my brother the date of birth of his son [x day of the month of y]. At first I thought I got the day wrong (after he was born), but then realised that he was born x days after the full moon in the month of y.. I just didn't use the right calendar system.
I have also predicted/dreamed my mother's death, which was a car accident caused by a white car in a high-speed chase with a police car. I told her and this one day she suddenly thought about this dream (it was quite some time after I had the dream and told her) so decided to stop the car for a moment, at that precise time, a high-speed car chase involving the car I told her about and a police car went right past her. If she had continued the way she was going, the car would have t-boned her on the driver's side.
If I have a dream that I can remember - and I had no control over it (all the dreams I remember are usually lucid dreams) then I know there is a message for me - and I pass it on. I am sure I have saved a number of lives because of them too.

Annyka-That is awesome that you have had predictions that have saved the lives of those close to you. There are a few times where I wish that would have occured for me, but it is useless to wish on the past. Usually I can predict when a person is going to die of an illness and what illness before they even know anything is wrong. Unfortunately people think you're crazy when you tell them to get certain aspects of their health checked out when they have no symptoms of anything being wrong, so by the time they seek a doctor's help it is already too late.
I have had similar experiences with babies in utero also. The most recent was my friend's child who I predicted would be a boy and the date of his birth along with his full name, which I had written and stuck in a sealed envelope for my friend to open afterwards. I had made the prediction 3 months before his birth, and the name was one that was not even under consideration until 2 weeks before he was born. We have so much fun with baby predictions. :hi5:

I usually have about one a week, some minor, some big.
Few years ago I had a premonition of my apartment building being on fire.
Had a premonition of a cash transaction that was less than what it was supposed to be.
Had a premonition about finances this week.
Some big, some little... I don't remember them all. I just organized my BOS so that I can start writing them all down and reflect back on them.

it's really comforting to me that a lot of people have non-life changing premonitions. I always thought my ability to predict boring events was, well, boring. I have constant déjà-vu just from the sheer amount of boring that I seem to dream about and have happen later. Sometimes, I'll have a weird dream that will turn out to be normal in waking context.
For instance, in sixth grade, I had a dream that my biology teacher came to class wearing a wetsuit and all the tables were in a circle around her desk. I thought it was just something odd until a month later, when we were talking about the ocean, she came to class wearing a wetsuit and had put the tables in a circle around her desk so she could show us her dive equipment.
I've never had any premonitiony type dreams that were important or life-changing though, I've ever really been able to figure out why all the premonitions I have are just boring every day stuff. Even my sensitivity factor is boring. My mom used to call me Caller ID because when I was younger, I'd always be able to tell her who was calling when the phone rang. Bo-o-o-ring lol

Phoenix_Falls: I totally get the boring premonition thing. I love when I get the dreams that come true that are perfectly ordinary occurences. It makes me feel as if I am where I should be at that moment. My daughter has become very good at the Caller ID thing, so we make a game of it now so she can practice. Ordinary stuff can be fun and entertaining.:uhhuhuh:

I get little things on average of one or two a month, those "boring" kind as it's been put; however, every once in a while I get on that's important or interesting. The first that comes to mind was what I thought was a daydream, I was riding the bus home in high school when we went past a stop sign. I daydreamed (or at least thought so at the time) that it was twisted and the wood post cracked and fell over. I lived in tornado alley and it was the middle of thunderstorm season, so I just thought it was my mind getting away from me. Boy, I was wrong, that night we had a tornado that went right through that area and sure enough, that sign was obliterated
More recent ones have to do with my fiancee. He has issues with bipolarism and so far I've been able to predict and prevent every suicide attempt because I usually dream about them the night before. Gods willing, that'll keep happening.

I've had two (that I remember) it usually only happens if I'm worked up about something. Mine usually shows me what I will see. My Great Grandmother had some as well...but hers were a bit different.
First one- Dad moved to the beach and my brother and I were at Grandma's 4 hour drive away and told that the next day we were going to see and stay with him at the new house (which I'd never seen before not even pictures).
That night I saw in a dream- a wooden cut out of the state of NC with words on it (couldn't read it though) which was fastened to the front side of a porch which belonged to a grayish blue double wide. Which sat off of a gravel drive way in front of a fence... beside this was another trailer and porch on this one was the name 'Barb...' and that is all I saw.
Next day when we got there it was exactly what I had seen but more clearer. And the name "Barb..' was my Dad's new house but the name was actually 'Barber'.
Second-- I don't want to go into detail, but I am still seeing the results from this one.... it was multiple parts and so far has spanned multiple years starting in 2005.
I moved overseas in 2005 had the dream in early 2004. In the dream I saw a concrete partition in the middle of the road with writing on it... could make out what it was but couldn't read it 'cuz it was in another language. Then looking from a window saw the 'view' from said window. Skipped again and saw what looked like a hospital with a nice shinny floor and an outdoor atrium at the end of a hallway which led to it in the atrium was some flowers but mainly the whole thing was surrounded by large well maintained grape vines. Skipped again to being in a house and being shown around... but one room was filled with hay. Skipped again I am standing on the front porch of my grandmother with two children (I think twins.. they were wearing the same thing and only saw their backs) and my now husband was on the grass in front.
The first section is on the road around the block from my now home. Next is the exact view from my bedroom window. Next... the hospital I go to here for thyroid problem and fertility problems, but it was just recently remodeled and now is the exact image as was in my dream (before it had old wooded floor and was beat up pretty bad inside).Next.. My sister in Laws house... which I just visited like two weeks ago almost. Her husband's Father left them a house but it wasn't originally a house ?? It's like one half is a regular house with bedrooms kitchen etc but on the other side its a hayloft which is above the barn but everything is easily accessible without having to go outside but it is accessible from there as well. Haven't seen the last part of the dream yet.....

I had dreams quite a lot when I was in elementary school, it was so long ago that I can't really remember the details, but I remember the feelings. I would be in some ordinary situation, like a conversation with a group of classmates, or recess play, or something, and I would get a feeling of de ja vu, like this had happened before, then I would remember it was from a dream and I would know what was going to happen next, and it would happen. It was never anything important though. I remember these situations giving me a surreal feeling.
As I got older it happened less, but I still get it once in a while.

I've had a few experiences with dreams coming true, the one that will always stick out for me is the first one I had.
Dream 1: I was at this big party and i was in line for dessert and this girl infront of me grabbed a slice of some kind of cake that had nuts in it.I watched her walk back to her table and i got this really odd feeling like*Something Bad is going to happen!*but i didnt really pay attention to it and just shoved it to the back of my mind and got my stuff and went back to my table,a little while later i noticed that the girl was sitting alone and so i went over to sit with her.At first she was fine but then she started clearing her throat alot like she was having problems talking and then she started to cough really bad and gasping for air.She died 5 mins later.
Reality: It turns out that the big party i was at in my dream was my grade 8 grad. and the girl infront of me was one of my classmates sisters,Also it so happens that the girls parents were divorced and that her dad and step-mom(the ones that came with her to the grad) were unaware of her nut allergy and so was the girl,so after the dream(it was like 3 weeks to grad) i told the chef about the dream and she readily agreed to take out all the foods containing nuts.So in the end everything that happend in my dream came true, exactly as i dreamt, exept the girl dying

I get a certain sequence of numbers, then a sense of Death. I feel like I am about to die in a certain type of way, then someone one step removed dies in the way I feel. For example, for several weeks I felt like I was going to die of an aneurism, and my friend died. Up until a few days ago, I felt like I was going to die in a nasty car accident, then my mom's friend died that way. Any one know what to call *that*?

yeah i get um to mostly about the weather though sometimes about my close friends and family
like this one occurance a coulpe of days ago;
i had a dream about my mom coming home from work telling me that she spun out the car on a ice road and had to get towed out by the cops.
so when i woke up i gave her a call and told her to watch herself on the drive to work that something might happen,
careful not to give her to many details about it,
( ive noticed that if i tell the whole thing "word for word" something worse or nothing will happen)
so not more then 45 mins later she calls me up and says that she spun out the car after a semi nearly side swiped her on the freeway and that she is stuck in the snow and needs help. when i hear in the backround sirens then she says "nevermind police are here"

One of the best premonitions I've had was completely unspectacular. When I was in college I had a dream just before waking one morning, in the dream I was looking at a map. It was a map of Scotland. My view of the map moved up and a finger reached down and pointed to Angus, Scotland. In my dream and after waking up I thought to myself that was an odd place, and seemed sort of stereotypical for a scottish town. I didn't even think it was a real place. I just wrote it off as silly.
Later that morning in my anthropology class we talked about an anthropologist from none other than, Angus, Scotland. It kind of blew my mind. I don't remember much else from that lecture because I was just thinking about that brief dream.
I still feel like I really should travel there one day!

A few years ago, before the tough economy hit, more precisely before the housing market crisis hit, I had a vision of many people living together in small spaces, helping eachother meet their common basic needs. Whole families reuniting just to keep their families fed and housed.
Since this all started, I have found this to be happening all over. The shelters are too often over-full, so churches, families, etc have been opening their homes to those in need. I see this regularly, and have lived it myself. We (my boyfriend and I) have taken people into our apartment who needed a place to stay, my daughter and her husband have been staying with his family, my neighbors have taken those in need in.
I have never (in my lifetime) seen this kind of human compassion on this large of a scale, as was predicted in my vision.
FYI: This vision happened before I started adding dates and times to my Journals and logs.

Most of my premonitions were related to someone dying, and then there were others about relationships ending. Sometimes these were months or weeks in advance while others were either a day or so before or during the time the events in my dream were happening.

I've had a few instances where things have been eerily similar to recent dreams... all involve death somehow)
The first was a dream I had of my sister falling from a set of monkey bars, ending up with a concussion, and then dying.
In reality, she fell from a galloping horse, into a wooden fence, got a concussion and lived.
The next one wasn't a dream, had it been I might have been able to do something.
8 weeks before my mother's death, I had this intense feeling that something would go wrong around July 25th. I had no idea what, and had assumed my unborn son was going to enter the world 12 weeks early like his older sister. On July 24th, I got a call telling me of my mother's death. I feel guilty not sharing my fears, but had no idea of what was going to go wrong.

I have had something similar going on in the last year - it's happened a few times where I get completely preoccupied with being diagnosed with cancer (which I do not have). It's such a weird emotional feeling that is completely out of the norm for me. Then a short while later I will find out that someone I know, or someone close to someone I know, has been diagnosed with cancer. My latest cancer preoccupation ended with finding out my step-mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fortunately, she has a really good prognosis.
I've had precognitive dreams that panned out exactly - mostly about completely mundane stuff. I also get instances of deja vu in which I am able to change my actions to result in a better outcome. I wouldn't say this happens with any regularity, but it does tend to happen in clusters.
