This is a historical question. I have tried looking it up every way that I can think of but I can't find any real information.
What I am curious about is how Horus was worshiped in ancient Egypt. I found information on the names of the temples and the stories about Horus but nothing on actual day to day structures.
For instance:
I saw one reference to "Priests of Horus." Were there also Priestesses? Or was it only men?
What were the functions of the temples in the lives of the people?
Any information would be much appreciated.
Thank you :)

Horus or Heru was the protector of the Egyptian people. There are many forms of Heru and by Greek; Horus, it would be difficult to give a discreet answer. Being the sky god he was looked toward for guidance, the north star of the people, the eye for the blind. Don't recall too many day to day worship. Him being of the sky in conjunction with the sun and the moon and in later combinations with the self created one "Ra", he was considered to have a life and death before rebirth cycle. Horus of the horizon, greeted in his rebirth during the rise of the sun at dawn and celebrated during the death and passage to rebirth at dusk.

The Temple of Seti I where he was worshipped in the divine triad of Abydos is supposedly well preserved with scenes of daily rituals. The departure of Horus's divine barque was a feature in festivals where priests carried barques usually to a temple of another deity of the opposite sex, like the annual voyage of Horus of Edfu to Hathor of Dendara down the Nile.
In a modern Thelemic sense, the Osirian theology of him being the son is utilised in the Aeon of Horus, where the Invocation of Horus is a common rite during the Thelemic New Year, but that's specific to Thelema, and probably not what you're after ;)
