Hi, It's been a year that is seems like the bad luck has permiated my home. It's to the point that I am the only one working out of two, and it's only abour 800 a month. that is what my rent is. I have no more goes to the food bank, a loan, car insurance that needs to be paid to be able to go to work, plus bills and utilities. Therefore I cannot afford to purchase any sage to be able to create a smuge stick.

Is there another way to cleanse my home?

When i became unemployed in april 09, I have cleaned, and re-organized my home. even gone through the boxes and the things in the closet. so I know it's pretty clean, thought I could use a spring clean.

Or if someone knows where I can go to pick some sage in the Calgary area that isn't going to cost me alot much gas. Because I have to make a tank last me a whole month.

and is there a way i can do a personal cleaning? I don't know what to call it that's why I am asking instead of researching the ritual itself. Can i do it in my own tub? Or does someone know of a place that I can do it in Calgary aswell?

Thanks!

You can always do a personal cleansing in your tub. Intent is everything, you don't have to have anything fancy.

As for the house cleansing there's a wonderful book called Magical Housekeeping by Tess Whitehurst. She talks about how you can use sound to break up bad vibrations in your home. Such as clapping, ringing bells, playing cheerful music, ect. Also if you have stones, like quartz or obsidian you can use those as well. Another way is to stand in the middle of your house and just visualize while light flooding each room and washing away the negativity.

When I am feeling very negative I do a cleansing in my shower. I stand there and imagine blackness comming off of me and being washed away by the water. As the time goes on I imagine the blackness turning to grey and eventually clear. It always makes me feel so much better washing it all away. I imagine you could do something similar in a bathtub if you dont have a shower.

In order to cleanse your home on the cheap, I'd say to clean it super good- dust and vacuum everywhere, perhaps rearrange furniture to break up the bad vibes, and to energize any stagnant energies. From there, you can use salt water, bells, clapping, candles, incense... any of these to cleanse and seal the house up.

As for yourself, I find that cleansing myself in the bathroom/tub is the best method. Usually involving words and a bath of some sort.

Hopefully this helps.

THank you everyone. I finished the spring clean of my room yesterday night, and I will work on the rest of the house.

And thanks for all the advice guys!
