Young Witch in need of help!

Anywayz I am 13 years old and since I was like 9 I have been intersted in Witchcraft/Wiccan/Pagan.I have tried many spells and incatations but nothing works.Am I not dedicated enough?Too young?Not magickal enough?Some one please help me....private message me please!

Hello!

Maybe you just don't know enough about how magic works. What books have you read? Some books make it more difficult than it really is. Also you may not feel connected enough to the spell for it to work for you. Thats why it may be best to write your own.

You arent too young, IMO. I started practicing magic when I was younger than you are now. It just takes a lot of reading, practicing and talking to other Pagans (this is a good place to start!)

exactly... i agree haedis...
Magick can't be forced... so don't try to hard, and don't try to do anything unless you know at least something about it
it also depends on how you'r "simple spells" where created in the first place... i normally write my own spells because they work better for me...
if you really want to try something simple... attempt to summon the wind, thats more ofa mind over matter, imagine the wind blowing aghainst your face, through your hair, rustling the trees, and will it to come... normally it works for me, but then again, i'm Air by name...

What they said. And I too was practicing by the time I was 11 or 12. Maybe you need to spend some time focusing on what you want, before you go back to spell casting. My advice would be to spend some time researching spell work and the actual history of witchcraft, and also to spend some serious time meditating on what you want and how to accomplish it in the best, most positive manner, before writing your spell.

In the meantime, you might want to try something else, like learning a system of divination - something that will once again help you to meditate and focus.

You can find plenty of help if you ask specific questions in the New Pagans and Books forums as to what books to read while doing research and where to go next.
