I said anybody who asks, but there are occassions when I've said no, for instance the person gave me the creeps or they were a minor or the question they asked was just bad.... (Like the woman who came to me and asked me about her married lover and how to get rid of his wife. Ick...)

I'm picky - I'll read for friends and family, and for most people here if I have time to do a reading, but I don't feel an obligation to read for people who are disrespectful or who are creepy, especially in the daily world. I've seen friends who are professional readers burned out badly by such individuals.

BUT - not that many folks know I read AND I prefer not to read for myself.
If I have time I read for folks here.
I don't think I'd read for folks that I felt were "creepy".

I chose never for myself, but I do read for others. I wanted to combine two of the answers really....

I don't read for myself because I've found that I'm not objective enough when it comes to dealing with myself....i'll start seeing things that aren't there, or missing things that I don't want to see. I'll read for other people though, but only those that I feel comfortable reading with -- a lot of the time it depends on my mood and the mood of the person asking. I won't do a reading if there's a lot of negativity flying around... tends to effect the cards.

I said anyone who is asking.... Though, there are times when I see threads here, or whatever, and I'm just not up to it (whether it be feeling emotionally drained or physically sick, etc).

And I prefer not to read for myself, although I do a daily draw, I won't get deeper than that, usually...

Since I am only learning how to read, I only read for myself. Once I feel more comfortable and confident I will read for others.

I will usually read for anyone... but I'm still learning to read for others with my tarot cards. It's funny... I'm comfortable reading for myself with my tarot cards, but I'm uncomfortable reading for myself with my aleph-bet cards which I MADE. :lol:

I chose "I'm picky who I'll read for", because I'll generally read for anyone who asks, but sometimes I just get a "don't do this reading" vibe, either on my own or from my cards.

I don't usually do readings for myself, for fear of being too subjective, but I will do the odd yes/no spread, or crossroad spread for myself if I've got an important decision to make. I also use a couple of my decks in spellwork and meditations.

I can't do readings for myself. They either don't make sense, or when I go to pull clarifiers, etc, I end up pulling half the deck -_-; try making sense out of that. *chuckles*

however, I will read for most people, including strangers. Except if I get a weird or icky vibe. Then I am kind of like "er. . . sorry". I also am really careful about when I read- if I'm not in the right mood or mindset, I can't make any sense out of the cards.

I havn't been in the mood for months now :( :( :(
