And how! Here (http://cosmic404.blogspot.com/2010/09/im-totally-not-dead-dua-netjer.html) is my most recent one which happened last month. That one is the most vivid. The other two times were when I was a lot younger. The first, I was being choked and I couldn't breathe and all of a sudden I'm outside of my body just kind of detached from the situation. I felt like I had to be some place and right as I thought that, I felt like I was being pulled away from the scene (I don't know if that's the right word, but it'll have to do) but then I stopped being choked and just ended up with a bruised neck and sounding like I ate a bowl of tacks for breakfast. The second time, it was much the same but I wasn't getting choked. That time though, I woke up in a hospital but all I remember is floating away and then it was like I blacked out for a while.

I died three times in 2007. Twice on the operating table and once with a heart thing.
It was boring, no lights, no marvelous insights, just boring.

I may have experienced almost dying. In December 1999, there was a major flu epidemic that killed people. I was so unwell with flu that I had to stay in bed. This flu made me crippled and I could barely walk without suffering an asthma-like attack. It gave me other nasty symptoms I've never had before, and it was very painful. I felt so cold even when I was in bed, lots of blankets, covers, bed clothing, double heating and airtight room.
I was drifiting away and couldn't keep my eyes open although I wasn't sleepy. Then I was standing by the bed, looking at the window. The window was wide open for a strange reason although I knew it had been closed shut. A warm flowery breeze came in and I felt it on me. It reminded me of Summer. The curtains were blowing a little. It was very pitch black outside but I just knew that it would be nice and peaceful. I felt the urge to go out, then something that sounded like a dog entered the room and I was back in bed. It sounded like the dog rushing around, panting. I lived with my dad in the house and we didn't have pets. I sat up to have a look at this dog when it disappeared. I ended up being filled with energy and got out of bed to look for the dog. It startled me that it had gone. That was when my health was quickly returning.
Now I look back on this wondering if that dog could've been my family pet who died months earlier and stopped me from possibly dying.

I would have thought this thread would see a lot more posts than this.

This "Paranormal" section is quiet :) I don't think that many people have visited the thread. Even if they have seen it they probably didn't experience anything to post about.

March 1st 2009. I died giving birth to our second daughter. My heart stopped once, I was revived by a nurse. My baby girls heart stopped twice. It was this event that brought about a major life change for me. It was really what started me down my pagan path.

No problem. :) Although, I'm not sure it's really a near death experience since I actually did die... but I got better ;)
