Lifting Curses

Does anyone know anything about curses and/or especially about lifting them/getting rid of them???

There is someone I just started to know and she told me about her life and a probable curse. She's very serious, and afraid.

I'd like to do anything to help but I'm not that much into curses, only much experience in energy-working itself.

So if anyone knows anything, please post/mail/send a persona message, whatever

It's a curse put on a family, seems to affect only the first born child each time, can't tell much more now, but if any more information is required, just ask!!

As I posted in that thread, I believe that the curse only has power when we believe in it. A ritual to reverse the curse might make your friend feel more secure, but I'd also suggest that she work on changing her thoughts and attitudes in regard to it.

Well, Freyja, I do believe curses rely for the bigger part on the fear of the victim for the particular curse
But I believe in energy and manipulating it, so there is probably also a part caused by energy manipulationin a bad way. I am already working on the way she feels, that will be ok,
but I need to know a way to let her family get rid of some kind of bound negative energy
probably very 'strong' energy, if it has such longlasting effects

also it has nearly killed her twice, without her knowing about a curse

Hi, I know its a long time since you guys were discussing this subject but... could someone advise me on what EXACTLY to do (as in meditation and burning of which candles etc...) as i'm a complete novice!

I agree that the attitude you have towards the "curse" must in someway contribute but sometimes i think people need a little.... bolstering , for want of a better word!!!

Youll find that handing out ritualls isnt really the fortae of this site. I can give you some advie though. Fist off if you know anything of runes, go to Ricks practical thread #6 theres some good stuff there and its pretty self explanatary.
Now assuming your not so inclined, the best way to do it would probably be to grab the bull by the horns.
If you know the nature or source of the curse, look around for a specific counter for it. If you dont heres general overveiw of what Id do. Assuming that I couldnt seem to rid it with runes which are more often my first choice.
Center and do all the things you normally do before your rituals. Id then meditate, dont rush it just take your time until your as deep as you can go. Search yourself for the tainted energies, take your time. Once youve found them you can try to either 1) send them away, pushing with your will tell they arent directed elsewhere (not another person if you plz...) 2) try reversing the flow. The energies have to come from somewhere eh? just take ahold of the thread and stroke it back tell it rund elsewhere. 3) pull in enough positive energy to counteract its effect. cleanse yourself thourally.

The easiest thing to do if you're just starting out is to burn a black candle to ground the negative energies, then a white one of equal size to bring blessing energy into your life. Very simple but very effective.

To Lift a Curse: Take a pen and paper and write: "INSTANT KARMA is at work here" for I send back to you all that you send my way. I did not ask for you to interfer in my life. You must mind your own business and stay clear of mine. Back to you three fold to teach you a lesson in meddling in my affairs. Back to you all that you send my way. List every thing that you can think of that this person may have placed a curse on you about. But if you are not sure then that is ok. Just list that you want to send back to her that which she has sent your way "be it good or be it bad."

List this is the way of the universe, for that which you send my way the universe now sends back to you. Now draw a bird foot many times on this paper. Now find a spider web and place it on this paper and say as I fold this paper "as the spider that folds his web I send back to you all that you have sent my way and it shall not return for I burnt these words before you relized this spell has been broken. So be it."
"So mote it be. So be it." As you do raise your hand with your first two fingers and thumb shaped like a bird foot and keep saying "back to you."

Then burn this paper and toss the ashes in the wind or upon water and don't look back.
Now pour salt into your carpets and thru out your house saying back to you three fold, over and over until you have sprinkled salt thru out your home. Then place some salt in your purse and auto. You should leave this salt for seven days or more before you vaccume it up. You will see a result in three day. If you feel like there is something more bothering you then repete this spell again. You may feel the need to replace the salt for protection, again and again with out repeting this spell. Don't worry it won't harm your carpets it will help clean them and you will feel so good.
