This thread is for the discussion of techniques that any of you might use to reduce the level of your innate and/or developed empathic sensations, because - as I'm sure many of you know - sometimes these things can be a real pain in the arse (especially in unwanted situations).

I've noticed over the years that being able to control the level of one's empathic currents is crucial to higher states of awareness, so one can "tune out" unwanted frequencies and "tune in" to the currents that are more desired.

Meditation and a centered state of focus have helped me immensely, along with genuine emotional honesty with myself. That last one is so much harder in practice than in theory - as I'm sure many of you know :)

What other techniques are there?

Not an issue to me personally but I have buddies who swear by THC

I honestly haven't had much luck with it. I know that alcohol tends to make me less sensitive but I do not like relying on substances. I don't drink normally and I haven't ever actually been drunk. I'd be interested on hearing any other ways to lessen it.
