Which God/Goddess?

I know its sort of a very basic question that will probably make me look like I've forgotten all I know about Gods and Goddesses,But are there any Deities linked,Very Strongly to Birds,I'm just wondering because latley I've been a feeling of feathers brushing up my arm and a White and Black Dove or a bird that looks like a Dove,Has been showing up in my dreams,And I woke up this morning to Find a Snow white feather sitting on my window sill,Now normally this wouldnt cause strong feelings among me,However When I picked up the feather I felt the strong need to tie it to my dream catcher,So I did,And when I was done I realised that the feather I had tied on the other side of my dream catcher was like a kind of Midnight Black,(Black with a slight,almost invisible hint of blue),The same Black that was on the Bird that kept showing up in my dreams,The white feather matched the white on the bird as well.

Any thoughts on what this might mean?I'm all but certian that it has something to do with a Deity,Which one though is what I need to find out.

The Morrigan is associated with ravens and crows. Hera is associated with peacocks. I don't know any that are associated with doves, though they appear in Hebrew and Muslim mythology.

Perhaps if you could definitely I.D. the bird, you'd be able to research and see if there are any specific deities associated with that bird?

I believe doves are associated with the goddess Venus (think of a pair of turtledoves as the emblem of lovers)...whether just white doves or the other types as well, I don't know.

I do worship the Goddess Aphrodite which,as you know,Is the greek equal of Venus,However I belive them to be the same deity.So maybey she's trying to get something through to me,or she's just letting me know she's there,I guess another possibility is that it has something to do w/ Artemis,It does make some sense.Anyways,Thanks,And I'll keep looking into it though.:bigredgri
