I've lived with my mother for the past six years (not fun) and when I got married over a year ago, my husband moved in with us. Huge house, lots of property and cheap rent, but it still seems crowded, especially since my mother is one of those overbearing, meddling, gossipy types who thinks I worship Satan (that used to be a daily fight...)
Wednesday, my Dad and Stepmom took my husband and I out to dinner and told us they are buying a new house and offered to sell us their's on a two year lease with option for the payoff price ($65,000 house for $50,000!) We're grabbing it! It's three bedrooms, bath and a half, carport, shed and they are leaving all of the appliances and living room furniture for us so we don't have to buy hardly anything. My son is absolutely thrilled, he's already picked out which room he wants.
We'll be moving at the end of February. Only bad thing is no computer (the one I'm on is my mom's), but we'll probably solve that problem real fast, good computers are getting cheap now.
Just thought I'd share my good news.
