MysticWicks turns 10! January 25th 2011. :happybday


In celebration of our 10th birthday (or anniversary, if you prefer) we will be selecting a random user each month of this year to receive a gift from mol and me. To qualify for the drawing all you need to do is be an active participant of the forums. One member each month will be selected via a random number generator. If your user id is selected we will PM you asking for your shipping address. (If you decline the offer we will select another member through the same process.) Each gift will be different and selected by us personally. No key chains, coffee cups, mouse pads or t-shirts!



I wish we could gift each of you something to show our appreciation for sticking with us for so long, through so much. We appreciate you more than you realize. Thank you for being here.

Believe me. Having been here since the age of almost 18 is bad enough. I don't really wish to delete anything though, I don't think.
Dumping boyfriends, affairs with married men, battling illness... MW saw me through it all, and that's something I'm thankful for. It's like a family.

Sadly I cannot say that. I joined when I was 20. Which means around March, I will have been here 8 years.

I still can't believe it's been 10 years. April will be my 10 yr here too.

Been one of my most favorite roller coaster rides ever. Friends found. Friends lost (RIP Flar7 & Mithrea). My son was just a little guy when I joined, now he's a college kid. Families growing larger. Watching some of our young members grow and mature and start families of their own. *sniff*

it started with a website called "the Candle Shop" in 2000 with i believe something of a chat session attached to it. By two Thelemites which were Mol and Semele. later on it was changed to Mystic Wicks and the forum was created. pretty much people were having problems with another forum called Beliefnet. so they left and came here. by 2002 or so rep of the place(good and bad) caused many people to come here.

10 years.....

Hummm in that 10 years I have been divorced, remarried and going threw my 2nd divorce. Threw it all (including the new things that are happening now) MW has been there. I couldn't thank you guys enough for all you have and continue to do. Even with all the difficulties that have happened, You guys rock!!
