Reliable?

How reliable is tarot? Like, if three people tell u one thing but then a fourth tells u something completley different, who to trust?

Tarot, of any variety, is a divination tool. ANY divination tool can be hit-or-miss. It depends greatly upon the person using the tool - just as one person with a chisel creates chips and pock marks, and another with a chisel creates fine sculptures.

People tend to favor the decks which "call" to them. Having a "bond" with your deck is often considered essential to becoming in-tune with it, and increasing the likelihood of your utilizing the tool to its greatest potential. There are different ways to go about doing this... I can elaborate if you wish.

There are lots and lots of divination tools - non-tarot divination cards, scrying mirrors, runes, divining rods, candle flames, animal carcasses, and so forth. Even something as seemingly unrelated as 20-sided dice can be used for divination purposes. You can divine with just about anything that has an element of randomness which can be influenced by "fate" so to speak.

In the end, you "trust" your own instincts, and you "trust" those whom you have deep respect for (doesn't hurt if they also have a history of accuracy).

The thing to remember about any form of divination, is that the future is rarely set in stone. I've done readings for 10+ years in the future that turned out completely wrong, because the person they were concerned with chose a different path in life. I've done readings for present/near-future things which were far more accurate.

It's all circumstantial. Nothing is set in stone. So of course different people are going to see different things - there can be more than one possible outcome when you involve variables like human beings. All tarot can do is show you the likely possibility at that moment.

Hmm Ok thanks for the help, I apperciate it, I have done readings and they turned out to be accurate before..I have a tendency of staying on the path if I wan the thing to happen. A fue years back I had a reading done by a person, it took 3 years for it to happen just like she said it would, but I changed it by not having that kind of relationship with that person, other than that, she was accuaret and on the spot about the rest.
