Although, I imagine that's not quite what you had in mind. :hyper:

I am by no means a crystal expert, but I did find some information that you may find helpful.

Crystologists recommend several kinds of crystals for weight loss purposes. Apatite is supposed to suppress hunger and raise metabolism. Fire agate is used to reduce cravings, while tourmaline and sodalite aid weight loss. Clear quartz should balance the body into a positive state, which can create a better mindset for healthy (http://www.ehow.com/about_5556409_weight-loss-crystals.html#) weight loss.

I'd suggest Appetite, and have at least two pieces. I wore mine on a cord, and swapped them out when I noticed bad habbits coming back.

I think constantly "pulling" on a stone can disrupt something essential about it, hence having two. Whatever one I'm not wearing goes on a quartz cluster to "chill" and "recharge".

apatitie can surpress hunger.

andean opal can help get rid of water rentations

cinnabar also BUT it should NOT be used in an elixir in the normal fashion. As cinnabar contains mercury which is poisonous to the body. If you do have a need to use it in a safe elixir then put it in a glass of water, THEN place this glass in a larger glass or bowl(no metal in preference) making sure the first water has no connection with the outer water. after it has been charged(typically 24 hours) use the outer water for an elixir and throw the water away where it can do no harm. if the first water spills into the second one. start over with new water. as it's ruined.

danburite can help if you focus on it

orpiment can get rid of cholesteral but it's an arsenic sulfide. if you want to use it as an elixir then do it the same way as cinnabar. Although i would just highly recommend to have it near you or other forms which don't require you to consume it.

as far as using tourmaline ,i would recommend using green tourmaline. also if you are using small pieces of "wands" becareful as they are fragile as glass. or maybe just slightly stronger. even though it's Moh's hardness is 7-7.5. which is the same hardness as quartz.

ocho(a form of small geode) helps with anorexia and bulimia. so if you are trying to loose weight , this might not be the best stone for you.

Unakite also can help with weight gain so I wouldn't use this for weight loss.

REALLY?. I am never without Unakite, perhaps that has been a contributing factor, hmmmm.

Thanks for the list Lightdragon :)

I've found it helped to work out the core sensation behind my eating habits (bit of soul searching there ;) ) and then match the crystal to it, so Rhodochrosite worked for me cause I was comfort eating while going through a rough patch emotionally. :)

I keep a medicine bag for this purpose. It was made for me.

It has 4 different stones:

Rose Quartz for encouragement
Aventurine to stimulate my metabolism
Carnelian again to stimulate metabolism
Sodalite promotes a quicker metabolism

It doesn't keep the weight off by itself, it works in conjunction with me actually trying by traditional methods.

What about Apatite, Citrine and cassiterite?
I read that Apatite stops you snacking but it also helps you to feel good about yourself. Citrine makes you physically better, encouraging you to eat properly. Cassiterite focuses on stress and people feel fat when they're too stressed so this stone helps.

Or enough small ones to fill a medium sized bag, carried on your back while you walk all over town.

apatite is more on the lines of supressing hunger.apatite can do a lot.
