hello all,
everyone has deja vu's I know, but ever since i more seriously started practicing I've noticed it a lot more. And not just a situation that seems the same, like placement of a table and chairs or desk setup. I have more vivid recalls. One example happened this last weekend. My best friend got married on saturday, and I was sitting fixing her dress in the living room of her home with her mother and father before the wedding, and I just stopped short because of a sudden conversation she and her father were having. I knew just what to expect as they spoke. I was just lost in the moment and then came back to the local sceen which recuired my attention to her dress. This was strange enough, but it's also happened right before I was in a car crash a month ago.
The most vivid version of this was several years ago when my good friend was killed in a collision where the other driver was drinking. I was talking with family when all of a sudden I zoned out and stopped talking for a few seconds. I didn't conciously remember seeing or knowing anything was up until later, but I had the sudden urge to call my friend. I did and he was driving home. I asked him how far he had to go and he said he was only a few more blocks away so I thought he'd be ok and that I was being silly to worry so I hung up.
The next day when I called him his mother told me that his car had been hit by a drunk driver, and it was then that i remembered and conciously realized that I had known and that's why I had called him.

I hadn't really thought about it till now, because the same type of thing is happening again. I wonder if it could be some foreign energies or something that I should do a cleansing ritual for, or if I might try something else. I started by meditating on the images I saw and or felt deja vu about after the fact, but I never seem to remember what I know about these times until it's happening again. Also, could it just be scientific, like a glitch in the brain or something that just makes me think I've known it before?

Thanks so much, I'd apreciate any input! :)

That is precognition when you recognize a scene as it is unrolling.
De Jevue is being in an old place you never been but feeling as if you know it or have been there..or doing something you have done...the action itself but not the whole scene, because you actually were there or did that in another life.

And knowing your friend is about to pass is well I think that is clairvoyance of some sort.

At any rate :) that is absolutely fascinating. I get stuff like that but not too often and I would like to strengthen it. I don't know how to explain it but I think it is the brain picking up frequency waves about the future which are going to happen, like a dvd with alternate endings, the other side see things that are most likely to happen, probably will happen, supposed to happen because it was something you had planned. Maybe we pick up the probables all the time but don't notice or remember because they didn't happen..something in the formula changed and it went on to an alternate path. That is a really elementary explaination but I would never make a good teacher. I know a lot but I can't explain it.:)

thankyou for that... i didn't know the difference i guess between the (de javue?) and the rest. I have felt like i have been places before where i hadn't(at least not in this life) where i jsut knew where I was going and such for no reason, but these experiences have been exact. Anyone think I should be worried at all?

Worried? Nah. It's a gift or a burden...if you don't like it. If it's something you'd consider developing check out a book on developing psychic abilities.

Well actually I have posted a request in book forum but no one replied. I have ten other books to read but I plan on searchin Amazon.com for good improve your psychic skills book. It is something I definetly want to pursue. Sorry couldn't help you there. By the way...my husband had 6!!! episodes of precognition yesturday. Quite unusual for him. Considering he never experienced it till last year. And never more than once in a while or more than once a day.

ahh!! i get deja vu alot! altho instead of zoning out, i get the first "vision" or experience of the event (does that make sense?) in my dreams... and i don't realize i've dreamed it before until the dream starts playing itself out in real life... is there a way for me to know which dreams are premonitions or just... dreams?

I had precognition just the other day. It very rarely happens to me, but i was with a group of friends and halfway through the conversation, i knew exactly what two of them were going to talk about. It felt like we'd already been through the conversation in that exact place ages ago. I always thought it was de jevue as well, guess i learned something new.
