Pagan Spirit Gathering 2011

Apologies ahead of time if something like this has already been posted. I tried using the search but it kept giving me an error (could this be because I'm using Chrome?) so I couldn't find anything.

Anyway, anyone here planning on attending Pagan Spirit Gathering (http://www.circlesanctuary.org/psg/) this year?

I've wanted to attend it since I first heard about it a few years ago. This year I'm really wanting to finally go, especially now that its only a 5 hour drive away from me now instead of 7+. But I've never been to any event like this, so I'm a little nervous. I'm trying to figure out what all to bring and how much everything will cost. I'm also worried because it doesn't look like anyone I know personally is willing or able to go, so I'm going to have to go it alone. Double scary. But I've already started doing research. so I'm hoping I won't forget anything or bring too much!

So, are you going? Have you been before? Do you have any tips or experiences you would like to share?

I'm probably going! A group I worship with (not a formal coven, sadly) is organizing some folks to go, and since I have a car and it's a lot of college students, I'll likely be roped into driving! I'm really looking forward to it. I want to do the hunt ritual as a Hunter. I think it's going to be a wonderful experience!

I'm going!!!!! It works out well, I have a wedding to go to not too far from the gathering on the last Saturday. :lol:

Glad to hear from other people planning on going!! I wish I could go with a group. My SIL (who is also Pagan) can't afford to go and my boyfriend (not Pagan, but supportive) can't take a week off of work. I don't know anyone else nearby who would be interested so that stinks a little- one of the main reasons I started Sacred Paths.

Anyone ever been before or have any camping tips? I've never been on a camping trip this long before! I'm worried I'll over-pack, especially since I'm going to have to carry everything myself!

I really want to go, and Illinois isn't all that far from me. It's 5 hours from here to Chicago.

Just a note, the pre-registration price is $155 through the 4th, and after that It will go up to $165.

I wish I could go. Maybe next year - but I'm in California and I'm already planning a trip across the country at the end of the year - two in one year is a bit pricey.
