I'm looking for some input to a question I have. I'm trying to tie a thoughtform(something created while in ritual or inside a circle) and to tie a piece of jewelry. How can this be done?

Do you mean bind a spell to a piece of jewelry? Easily done, just place the jewelry on the altar and focus on it at the climax of the ritual. Better, of course, if the jewelry in question was created specifically for this purpose, but any object can become a spell focus.

No not a spell. Im wanting to bind a thoughtform ( a psychic construct created with a specific purpose in mind, created duringa ritual or inside a circle) to a piece of jewelry and be able to keep it dormant until its summoned forth.

To clarify: "thoughtform" has two common definitions in magick, a semi-autonomous daemon or servitor, or a image visualized by the magician as symbolic of his Intent (ie, visualizing a defensive spell as a suit of armor.) I assume you mean the former, in which case it can simply be commanded to enter the artifact.

is this something that can be summoned and then put back? can it be used multiple times?

Are you talking about a servitor?

My understanding is that servitors can be used and summoned again and again, contained within a certain metal or amulet.

This article helped me understand servitors and thoughtforms better. A servitor is basically, obviously, a part of yourself that you bring out, and yes, you can absorb it back into yourself when you feel you should.

There is also sigil making, which is a thoughtform as a symbol. It's basically the skeleton of a servitor, if you will.

Yeah what Im looking for is a servitor. Im looking to bind something just like that to a bracelet to be called on when i need and not just once.

A servitor's "life" can be as temporary or permanent as the magician desires. The decision is made when the servitor is first formed. What you want, then, is a servitor linked to an artifact, existing as long as the artifact exists and dissipating when the object is destroyed. The bracelet (for example) would have to be present at the servitor's creation and be defined as a condition of its existence. Even better would be for the bracelet to be created by you personally, designed with materials and symbols appropriate to its purpose and containing the servitor's True Name. The final construction of the artifact could then be part of the summoning ritual.
