New apartment

I just got a new apartment, I need some rituals and such to cleanse it. Its feels welcoming but i want to make sure things are all good since I have my children there. Thanks ahead of time for all input.

I'd suggest burning some sage and just waving it around the windows and doors, while stating that only good energy and entities are allowed in here. :3 That's what my family did with our new house, and it's been wonderful.

I agree with Sylver that sage can be a wonderful cleansing agent, but if smoke or fire are a problem, sound works wonderfully. It might be nice to involve your children in the process (not sure how old they are); go around the apartment once making a lot of loud noise to push out any negative energy. Then go around again, singing songs you like, or playing instruments, or carrying a singing bowl if you have one, to fill the space with warm, nurturing energy for you and your family.

Rosemary works too! You could sprinkle 'blessed' water around too, if you use it with the intention of cleansing the joint.
