Purification and/or Cleansing

I wanted to ask you guys a question. What materials and/or rituals should I use to "clear the air" of a space. I'm hoping to cleanse my room so positive energies can come in. I've been having trouble Kemetic means of doing so, and all I know is Wiccan means.

I appreciate any response. Thanks in advance. :)

I like smudging with white sage, or desert sage mixed with lavender.

I'm not really sure how you can make a cleansing more Kemetic. The most cleansing thing in a Kemetic's 'tool kit' would probably be natron- sprinkling natron around the house, or mixing it with water, and sprinkling that around. I've used both methods, and it works well. Course, I've also used the more common sage method, and had it work well too.

I would tell you to talk ot the gods, maybe they can give you some divine inspiration to create your own ritual that works for you.

Same here. white sage is a very powerful cleanser and it always seems to 'clear the air' for me. Native Americans have been using it.. Well, as long as they can remember.

Thanks for the input everyone. :) I will definitely consider white sage as an option. Hopefully I can find some....somewhere. It's nearly impossible to find that kind of thing where I live.

Natron and Kyphi/Kapet (incense)

Sorry that was fast and furious.

Natron is a great cleansing agent for the body and the room equally. Incense was a major component in AE for the use in purification and cleansing rituals as well. Kyphi/Kapet is what we know to be the temple incense of choice as well as myrrh and frankincense.

I find that incense works well for me too.
