Hello,

I have been interested in learning what my past lives where for many years. I have had a few readings but nothing has ever clicked before. Does anyone know of someone who is very accurate and respected as a past life reader? I am very interested in talking with them.

Thanks
Shawn

Some therapists can help by putting someone in a deep hypnotic state and recover memories. It's said that people remember past lives when they're under hypnosis. I'm not sure how accurate some of the past life memories are.

I have looked into hypnosis, in fact I am a certified hypnotherapist and with that knowledge I don't exactly trust the process. The mind can play tricks on you and I have seen people make up realities that didn't exist under hypnosis. I believe I need to take a more etherical approach.

Thanks
Shawn

I had one done by a reader i found online. I dont usually trust that kind of situation, but she had good feedback and I had a good feeling so I paid for it and I was AMAZED at what she told me. This is not an advertisement, just a testimonial. :D There was also someone here that did one for me for free but her website is not longer active, so I dont know what shes up to.

If you want the info for the person who did mine, let me know. Ill PM you. It was a reader on Etsy and was like $12 I believe. Well worth the money, IMO.

Hi, and thanks for your feedback. Yes I also felt suspicious of this type of "past life" regression using hypnosis.

What do you think of natural past life memories? They can be triggered off by visiting a place that you haven't ever been to before although it feels very familiar. Some people feel this about places as though they were destined to visit there. Dreams can remind a person of a former life.

What makes you so sure you've lived more than one life, if I may ask? As a person who doesn't believe in reincarnation I'd very much like to hear why you believe what you do?

You don't even seem to have any preconceived notions about it, is it a part of your religious believes to take the stance that we get reincarnated or is it a spiritual thing that appeals to you.

It's more of a gut feeling than anything else.

I do have spiritual beliefs that lean toward reincarnation but it's more than just an ideology to me.

I don't have any preconceived notions because I am not a person who claims to know things that I haven't experienced myself. I dare not read a book and claim that the knowledge gained is intrinsic to myself.

Thank you for the reply.
Shawn

Ah, thanks for the clarification.

Okay. There are meditations you can do yourself, but everything is usually based on self-induced or guided trance work, where you're highly susceptible to suggestion.
Other than that, I really do not.

I've had, I guess you could call it a reading by Brianstalin. (You can google him and find his page. There are also some videos on youtube). As for his methods, I'd say I'm skeptical but open minded.

I sent a few photos of myself as well as group photos. He replied with images of mine, two of my friends and my pop's past-life selves. It was up to me to figure out who those people were and I gotta say it took a while. I found the images, on wikipedia. I still haven't figured out who the image of my granfather's past-life self (according to Brianstalin) is.

According to Brianstalin I was Princess Maria Anna of Saxony, Grand Duchess of Tuscany. - Um... sure, why not. I don't see a resemblance really.
Now as for my friends, who are said to have Princess Maria Antonia of Naples and Sicily and Maria Christina of the Two Sicilies. I can see some resemblance. Especially the first one. Their birthdays are even close.

Maria Antonia was born on 14 Dec., my friend - 16 Dec.
Maria Christina was born on 27 Apr., my friend - 15 Apr.

I could easily be coincidence, but it is rather amusing. My person, Maria Anna was born on 15 Nov, and my bday is in August. (Though I suppose in Brianstalin's defense I was born early, but not THAT early...)

At worst - it's not true. Big whoop.
At best - it's gotten me to research a branch of history I wasn't really into before and now I'm learning something.
