View Full Version : Seeing auras

I was at a festival a few weeks ago. Two times, I'm positive I saw people's auras.

Once, I was in a class taught by a local singer. I was looking at her, and my eyes were slightly unfocussed since I was listening to her sing, and what I'm positive was her aura flared light blue around her. She wasn't wearing anything blue or orange, by the way.

The second time, a woman on a stage was playing a piano. Again, my eyes were unfocussed because I was focussing on the singing (she was the chorus director) and I saw her aura flare pink. Again, not wearing anything green or pink (despite the fact it was an Irish festival just before Saint Pat's!).

I WAS seeing their auras, wasn't I?

Did you see any other colors??? I use to see auras....haven't purposefully done it in a while though (I can never remember what the colors stand for anyways :hyper: or how to actually read them) but when I would see them there would be almost like a rainbow effect some would be brighter than others as well.... I guess some ppl would be mono colored as well?? Just practice 'seeing' and yes, I would also un-focus my eyes (from the physical person) so I could see the non-physical.

The aura is many layered, but some people only see one layer. Some people apparently see different colors than others, and you have to practice "feeling" what they mean, or just gather data and compare. If everyone you ever meet with a red aura has a temper, that's what red means.

My mother used to see auras, and she saw a black aura around anyone who was about to die, whether by illness or accident. Kinda creepy. I see black auras too, but the indicate depression, or just the practice of dark magics.

When I was little I always saw auras physically. Now I can sense them, and see colors or images in my mind's eye, but it's less than perfect now.

May you find what you seek,

Also consider the kinesthetics, whose brains mix the senses, so some people feel colours, taste sounds, hear smells, and so on. Maybe, by unfocussing from the visual sensory data, you allowed your brain to kickstart a conversion from sound into colours. You wouldn't be the first person to experience that.

That's a good point, Xentor. It is possible, but that is incredibly rare.

Not to derail your thread, Clare, but do any of y'all know if auras are limited to people? Can similar flashes of colors seen in (usually haunted/imprinted) places be auras or something else altogether?

That may be considered the same phenomena as the aura, a corona of energy produced by a highly charged object. I don't know if there is other terminology applied when it does not surround a living being, but I know I have several inanimate objects that have servitors attached to them, and they have auras.
