I have two. My son turned five on Monday~ he's my old soul, very deep and sensitive. He wants to be a vegetarian when he grows up because it is sad to kill animals and eat them, his words :) And my daughter is 2 1/2~ she is my party girl. She is as sweet as can be, until she doesn't get her own way. Then we see what I call the "Screaming Brat Dance" LOL! She is a tough cookie, Goddess love her.
I had my tubes tied last year, best thing I ever did LOL!!

My oldest son is 21, my daughter is 18 (& just graduated, sez the proud papa), & my youngest is 7 (he wasn't a "mistake", but he surely was a "surprise"!). And my loveley, loving mate has a daughter, 11.

LOL! Does that EVER sound familiar! I think in my case it's not so much what SHE'S called when she has a tantrum, but what WE'RE called...."The Bear's Breakfast!" (her nickname is The Bear for totally different reasons other than her temper).

So is our little boy, who just turned three last April. I feel so old. Or maybe that's still a little bit of the morning sickness  doing it's wonderful work. They just grow up so fast 8O .

I'm kinda bummed to see that zero is not an option on the poll, old or not. After a lot of thinking, and taking in to consideration my short-fused temper, my complete lack of maternal instinct on anything that does not have fur and four legs, plus the daunting number of over 6 billion people already inhabiting this distressed planet, and the overall fact that I just don't want children , I am remaining at the number '0'. There are many other reasons (career being one of them) that I am unwilling and undesiring of parenthood, but I'm not going to bore y'all with the details. :o
Unless I can count my furchild, a big 18.5 pound 'mama's boy' of a feline that I've had with me for almost eight years, then I can say one. I'd be happy with a house full of animals, but I'd need to work at home so I could spend more time with them. Is it weird to want to be a SAHM for my pet(s)?
Well, then there's my DH, who is just a big kid too. :D

I'm with keelyoherne...put me down for '0'. The best thing G*d/dess ever did for me was make me realize that I wouldn't be a good parent before I was one.

I have two very different daughters. Madison is 7 going on 35 and is very quiet and just likes to think. She wants to be an archiologist. That's gonna cost me. My little one Brenna is 16 months and is my brat child. She is my wonderfully loud, obnoxious, way too precious at times darling. And thank the Gods this is were I'm stopping. I don't think I will have any energy for another after this last one. :D
