I wasn't surprised by my result, the pantheon I mostly follow was #3. I want to read up on the rest tho, most are new to me. Coincidentally, my #2 is the old religion of my place of physical heritage (my blood lineage), and my #1 was the old religion of the place that I physically feel I belong.... I was surprised also that the Roman religion was so low compared to Hellenic.

Yeah that is strange, since Greek and Roman religions were so similar. Hmmm.
Maybe some of your ancestors belonged to a Celtic tribe ,they did live all over Europe at one time and not all migrated to western Europe but were absorbed by others. :)

Well, more than anything I believe that all deities are aspects of an archetype, which was on the 'quiz', actually, and that is certainly NOT something that Celtic/Hellenic/etc groups believe.

I believe this because of all the links from one tradition to the next, how all Indo-European pantheons have almost complete overlap with individual nuances. This coincidence means something to me, and that something is that we all started as one culture, way back in the day, lol, hence I believe the original shared set of beliefs were fractioned and evolved separately from one another. I don't think they have "Original Cthonic and Animist Religion" on that list ;)


Anyway, my heritage is Polish/Hungarian/Austrian, so it's like southern Baltic/Celtic/Slavic, depending on what time period you use to divide Europe.

Sort of surprised that Hellenic and Romuva came up first - I'd never considered myself leaning that way, or felt much connection to the Greek or Roman pantheon at all. Though it looks like where the deity names might be different, the values are the same, or something? I don't know yet.

Still think I'm leaning toward just staying Eclectic for now. I don't care if others think I'm "cherrypicking," I'm still just exploring and figuring out what works for me. :3

My top results were Finnish, Old English Heathenry, and Romuva.

I'm really an eclectic; I don't follow any specific tradition, nor any pantheon- I'm an animist. I worship nature spirits, and a god and goddess. I practice witchcraft/magic. That's my beliefs in a nutshell.

I researched Finnish paganism out of curiosity, and surprisingly it resounded with me and my faith. Strange, because I'm not Finnish, and have never lived near Finland.

Interesting. Still gotta research Romuva, though. I have no idea what that is.

Mine was like Eclectic Wiccan Pagan or something but I think i'm just more comfortable with being an Eclectic Pagan who practices Withcraft. I've kinda formed my own philosophy and analyzed my beliefs, etc and laid it all out as a little guide I can look at and kinda follow to keep me centered.
