Does anyone have this deck? I've looked at it for weeks now and can't stop thinking about it. I especially like the idea of the suits being different races of people.
Here's the deck: http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/ancestralpath/kreview.html

I just ordered it from Barnes & Noble, so I could have it in 3 days! And no shipping charges!
I'm very drawn to it, I think it would be great for the past-life readings since it incorporates different cultures.

FaeRain:
i have this one...do you think you are going to get it?
i really like it ... it hits on some wonderful legends.
the "wands" are the egyptian story, and the cards are beautiful!
i also love the "swords"...i really like her interpretation of the 3 of swords, which is usually so brutal, and here it is just about sadness and missing loved ones.
anyway, i have used it a number of times, and have had really good success with it. i've done a couple of past life readings with it, and it was very clear in one especially.
i think it is well worth having, though a few of the majors i don't like much.

redheadwitch - I love your name!
Yep, I'm getting it at 10:30 today (I'll pick it up on the way to my daughter's field trip)
I'm just so excited to have different races in one deck, rather than having an Asian deck + and Egyptian deck + so on. What are the majors that you don't care for?

have you seen the hanged man?
i don't really like it. it's a sweet thought (a baby in the womb)
but i usually think of the hanged man as one who has many options, has to keep his eye open for new paths, etc...and all i can think with this picture is that it's about to drop out! hee hee
it's ok, i'm just more of an intuitive reader, so i don't end up getting much from the card.
and i don't like the fool that much. i've definately gotten some interesting and useful information from the card, but again, it's so different i just guess i "resist" the newness more than anything.
thanks, i love my name too! :) it makes me happy
i'm so excited you are getting this deck, i think you will like it.
i hope you post your opinions about all your favorite cards here! there are some really beautiful ones!!!

When I went to BAN to pick up my newly delivered deck, I found out that it was just the book by the same name.
Needless to say, I was bummed out. So then I started thinking that maybe I wasn't supposed to have it. After mulling it over, I've decided to re-order it. I just have to be patient,...again! All good things come to those who wait (repeating silently to myself).
