IMO, a book of shadows isn't about power.

Why not write the spells yourself? They'll be much more effective and personal if you've taken the time to research and write them, and they'll have a lot more meaning to you.

There are plenty of spells in this forum that would fall into these categories. You can either search for them by clicking on "search" under the Mysticwicks.com logo at the top of the screen or by using the search box at the bottom of the Magick and Rituals forum :)

As Mithrea said, there are spells in this forum for depression, breaking habits, broken hearts, etc. It's easier to just search this forum rather than the whole board. Just go to the Magick and Rituals Forum itself, scroll down to the bottom and type in what you want in the box that says "Search This Forum."

and spells and such for freinds
and anything else u think i might need
and maybe help with herbs and such and where to get them
and what is the candle color code and the rede again i am nerw to all of this I want to put this all in my bos

Anything you want. Search this forum, the Green forum and even the Arts & Crafts forums. There are already a few threads about people's BOS's. Maybe some of the threads can help you.

If you check the main page here (http://glassphantasm.com/bos/) you'll see there's a bunch of info you can look at and copy down for personal use (ie. in your BoS) if you like.

Puzuzu (http://www.spellsandmagic.com/) and LuckyMojo (http://www.luckymojo.com/spells.html) have the best (most complete) spell listings I've seen, and Randall has a nice listing at The Cauldron (http://www.ecauldron.com/spells/index.php) as well.

To search our forum, which in itself has many many useful articles and spells, go up to the top there and click the word search (http://mysticwicks.com/search.php?s=) or click the word there that I just typed and made into a link.

Celticspirit, a BoS is really something that evolves over time. You can put in spells that you use, herb info, moon cycle info, divination info...whatever you find useful. It's not something you have to do immediately. There is no hurry to fill up this book. It's kinda like a magical diary. Different people put different things in there. My suggestion is to look over some of the existing threads on BoS and let your own evolve to suit you. If you just want a book with spells and info that other people have, you might as well just go and buy one from the book store. There are tons of exisiting books that have plenty of spells but they won't be yours.
