I thought it might be a good idear to start a thread about the use of crystals in healing since I can't find much about it anywhere on here. I will lend what knowlage I have on the subject by posting about one crystal and it's use each time if anyone wants to help out here they are more than welcome.

I will start off this time with Clear Quartz.

Clear Quartz.

The all singing, all danceing quartz. No crystal healers set is compleate without at least one of these lovely stones. Also known as Rock Crystal and believed by the ancients to be water frozen by the Gods. Clear Quartz has a high vibrational frequency and is particularly effective at channelling and directing energy. This stone has many uses, it is good for the brain and the soul. It is a powerful dispeller of negativity in your own energy field and in the enviroments. This stone receives, activates, contains, amplifies and transmits energy. It is a good thought provoker and a friend to meditation as it aids communication with the higher self. Used as a tool for therapy it is an excellent channeller of healing powers.

You can feel this energy yourself by holding a Clear Quartz terminated crystal in one hand and pointing the termination at the palm of your other hand. Take time to still your mind and relax, perhaps close your eyes, and you should be able to feel a slight tingling or gentle breeze on your palm.

Take time to get to know your crystals, meditate with them, get to know how they react with you. If you have two terminated Clear Quartz points then you can lie down and have one at your feet and one at your head, either pointing both in or both out. Try each way in turn to see how the energy makes you feel.

Another way of using two Clear Quartz points is to hold one in each hand, the left one pointing towards your heart and the right one away. Feel the energy coming in through the crystal in your left hand, up left your arm, across your shoulders, across your neck, around your head, back across your neck, across your right shoulder and down to the crystal in your right hand. Now put your hands finger tips together to form a complete circuit of energy through your upper body. After a while, separate your hands and lay the crystals to one side. Take a moment or two to ground yourself back into the here and now before taking up the chores of your daily life. Don’t forget to cleanse the crystals afterwards.

Clusters of Clear Quartz can be used to charge your other crystals as well as looking stunning when catching sunlight on a window sill. Place smaller crystals on the cluster, or leave your jewellery on the cluster when you’re not wearing it. Plants also respond to small crystal clusters. Just place a few pieces in the pots or in the borders and wait for the foliage explosion! I also keep a small Clear Quartz tumble stone in my water filter jug so I can benefit from the Crystal energy every time I make a drink.

One the subject of Quartz.

Rose Quartz.

The Love Stone. This lovely pink quartz strokes the heart into forgiveness and compassion. It helps you let go of stored up anger, resentment, guilt, fear and jealousy. It physicaly aids the spleen, kidneys and circulatory system. Eases sexual and emotional imbalances and can aid in fertility. Learn to love yourself with this lovely stone.

It is very rarely that Rose Quartz forms crystals. It is most commonly found as rough pieces, tumbled stones or carved shapes. Rose Quartz is wonderful for all areas where love, gentleness and balance are needed. You can never have too much Rose Quartz! It is associated with the Heart Chakra and is used to bring an awareness of beauty and optimism into our lives.

Rose Quartz is safe to use, even with small children. Rose Quartz under the pillow will ease you gently off to sleep and is a good crystal for children who have nightmares, to help them get back to restful steep. It is also said to be a good protection against background radiation and will turn black if high levels of radiation are present!

And another quartz.

Smoky Quartz.

The Dream Stone this smoky black, grey, clear stone can be effective in releasing old, calcified or fermenting negativity like grief, anger and despair. It is a good stone for helping lift depression. It is mildly sedative and relaxing and a good balancer of sexual energy. An able tool for meditation, it helps you explore your inner self by penetrating the dark areas with light and love. This stone also enhances dreams.

It is gently grounding, and used frequently on the base Chakra point, especially where red crystals would be too energetic, for instance if someone had high blood pressure or a heart condition. It is also very good at reducing pain from strains and cramps. If you have been doing too much gardening, or typing, or sport and your muscles are aching try placing a Smoky Quartz crystal on the area, or in the bath with you! Of course, after using in such a way the crystal will need properly cleansing and recharging before you use it again.

One of my books also mentions that Smoky Quartz increases fertility and balances sexual energy. I would be interested if any of you have any experiences with the crystal in this department!

Sorry for the delay in sending more information but I've had to take sometime out to go walking on a Sunday which is when I usualy do my mysticwicks homework. Foe those interested I have posted on New Pagan regarding a wonderfull experance I had today with a bronze age stone circle and my crystals. I will endevour to continue this thread if anyone wants me to but not tonight as I'm have walked 6miles today and most of it up a very steep mountain so I'm a little to sleepy to do anything tonight. Just wanted to let you all know I'll continue this and that I haven't forgoten about it but I'm very very tierd so I'm off to bed. One thing before I go stone circles have the most incredable cleansing power for your crystals. If you are lucky enough to live near enough to one take what crystals you have and place them by the stones for a few moments. If it is a really powerfull circle you'll see the cleansing going on before your eyes. Cheack out my post on New Pagan for more information on my Brigid's Day pilgramage.

Ok thanks for the feed back you guys as promised I'm going to do one or two more crystals for you tonight I'm going to stick with the more popular ones first and then cover the others after mostly because there less infromation about them to be had :)

Okay todays spechial stone is a real favorite of mine since it is so spitirual.

Amethyst.

The Elevator stone. it strengthens the endocrinal and immune systems whilst haveing a good effect on the right brain activity. It stimulates the pineal, pituitary glands and is an exceptional blood cleanser and energiser. It is a very powerfull aid to spiritual enhancement by bringing the lower natures to a higher consciousness. It cuts through illusion and is a helpfull friend for mediators inspiring healing, divine love, inspiration and intuition

Amethyst is the most precious of the Quartz crystals and highly prized as a gemstone. Amethyst derives its name from the Greek amethustos which means 'not drunk' as it was believed that you would not get inebriated if you drank from an Amethyst goblet. Not something I have tried yet! It is said to be a help in breaking addictive habits, so if you really want to give up smoking then wearing an Amethyst pendant might be helpful. The violet, purple or lilac crystals grow from the base and a small group of crystals attached to their base is a good addition to the dressing table. Place your crystal jewellery on the cluster to keep it charged and working for you.

Amethyst assists concentration and all mental activity and is particularly helpful when studying, so keep a small cluster on your desk or work area to help you pass those exams! Combine this with a spig or two of rosmarry bound in a blue ribbon and your on to a winner.

Citrine

The Cuddle Quartz is a good kidney, colon, liver, galbladder, digestive organs, heart and tissue regenerator. It prevents self-destructive tendencies so teenagers and other young people find this a good stone for them. By raising your self esteem the cuddle quartz just makes you feel better. It introduces you to yourself and is generally very nice to you. It gives you cheer, lightheartedness, hope, warmth and energy. Plus if all this was not enough it attracts abundance.

Citrine is a drop of sunlight bringing joy and lifting the spirits. It is not so easy to find Citrine crystals, and many sold as such are in reality heated Amethyst! It is easier to find small tumbled stones which are just as useful. Citrine will bring warmth and prosperity into your home - but don't expect loads of cash! My view is that it gives you such a warm positive glow that you can't help but attract good vibes from those around you, and a positive outlook will bring positive results. It is therefore useful to carry or wear Citrine to give you confidence or help with depression or over-sensitivity to the opinion of others.

Use Citrine in living areas of your home, the kitchen, playroom, dining room or family room where you are going to appreciate its joy, warmth and outgoing vibes. And don't forget the garden areas, the barbecue, patio and sandpit, anywhere people meet to laugh and enjoy themselves! A lovely crystal to have around.

Ametrine.

Ametrine is a combination of Amethyst and Citrine and is a very high energy that can lift and clear oppressive conditions. Ametrine brings harmony into our lives and can help to balance the different needs of family members as it makes us aware of each person's special gifts for the benefit of all. Although not easy to find, a small Ametrine cluster placed in the main living area might lead to better understanding amongst family members. Ametrine disperses negativity and releases energy blockages from both the aura and the environment. This is a crystal that I have only recently started to work with.

I'm going to do the rest in alphabetical order since I'm loosing track of what I've done and what I haven't :) I think I've covered most of the quartz now so I'll continue with the A's today and do some others another time.

A is for Argate.

The Fire Stone so called because it builds a fire in the loins, bringing a sense of courage and fortitude. It helps you to discover truth and accept fate whilst strengthening the body and mind. It is good for earthing and energizing. It is a powerful healing stone assisting the colon, circulatory systems, lymphatics, pancreas and the pulses.

If you need courage for anything then make this stone your friend. It is good when placed in childs bedroom who has a fear of the dark or even the closet monster. Tell the child the stone has magic powers to make him brave and he'll chase those beasties away.

A is for Alexandrite.

This Love Child is one of the Beryl family. In helping rebuild the mind, body and spirit from most modern trauma, it has a very passive effect on the nervous system, spleen and pancreas. Helps to bring emotional and mental aspects into balance, imbued with the potential of growth, joy and the love of life.

Feeling stressed or overwraught then get yourself this love child she help you back to earth gently.

A is for Amazonite.

The Thinker. This feldspar mineral soothes the nervous system, whilst giving strength to the heart and body, balancing the mental and auric body. Makes you feel good, uplifted, creative and gives perspective to your more harmfull traits and helps you to let go of them.. Amazonite is the friend to the artist and a wonderfull gift for any artistic friends.

A is for Amber.

The Mindfull One, so called because it not only remembers the past centuries but also helps with simple absent mindedness. This is the fossalised resin of ancient trees. It has good influence on the endocrine system, spleen and heart. It helps you find the kindness within you and helps the mind to find it's soul.

If Granny is a little forgetfull and crotchety these days give her some amber jewelry it will help her remember were she put her glasses and make her a happier soul.

Right that's all for now I'm going for a bath before the water goes to cold to enjoy it :). I'll post more when i get the chance but this should keep you going for a bit there are more A's to cover but I'll do them next time :).

Back from the bath and not yet tierd I'm determined to finish the A's tonight if I don't get round to anything else.

A is also for Aquamarine.

The Serene One, it helps to calm the nerves and reduces fluid retention. Good for strengthening kidney, liver and thyroid, it also is a good body cleanser. It gives clarity of mind, aiding personal creativity, thus losing fears and phobias. A great physical, mental and emotional balancer, it is a good friend in meditation, inspiring love, peace and serenity.

This lovely stone goes well in your bathroom. Apart from it's obvious link in colour with the sea and water it helps you create a carlm and restfull atmosphere. It is also well placed in the bedroom and just about anywhere you want to enduce a carlm, reflective paradise.

A is for Aventurine.
The Delver. This one stimulates muscle tissue whilst strengthening the blood. This is very much a brain stone, purifying mental, emotional and etheric bodies, it's real strength is in losing anxiety and fears by diffing at the foundations of their cause. It centres you whilst inspiring independence, well being and health.

If you suffer from panic attacks or any debilitating anxiety problems then this is the stone for you. It will help you find the root of the fear whilst giveing you the strength to over come it.

The last of the A's that I have at my disposal tonight. I know I haven't covered the Agate famile but I will do that at a later date since I don't have any information on them to hand I will try to cover them when I dig out my books on them.

A is also for Azurite.

The Decision Maker. This deep blue stone assists the flow of energy through the nervous system, helping the body utilise it's oxygen and strengthen the blood. A powerful assistance to meditation, it cuts through illusion and enhances dormant abilities allowing greater mental control, making decision-making easier. It inspires creativity, intuition and bodily well-being.

If you have bad cerculation this stone can help. If you wish to unlock your third eye try useing this stone as you meditate as it lifts the psycicie and opens your mind to the sight.

Ok now we get in to the B's and I've just found my info on one of the Agates and since it's a blue one I'll fit it in here.

Bloodstone.

As its name suggests this variety of chalcedony is good for the blood. By toughening and oxygenating the bloodstream it enhances physical and mental vitality. The heart, spleen, bone marrow and iron deficiencies are all assisted. This powerful stone reduces stress, centreing you and inspiring intuition, creativity and spiritual solidarity.

If you suffer from annemia get yourself one of these stones it helps you produce and hold the iron in your blood. If you have blood preshure problems then this stone may help you as it aids the colestoral levels and eases the flow of the blood.

Blue Lace Agate.

This crystal is usually found as a beautiful sky blue and white striped tumbled stone. Small pieces are quite cheep usualy. Blue Lace Agate is associated with the Throat Chakra and can be used to sooth a sore throat. I find it to be a very cooling and expansive crystal. It is a crystal that is particularly useful in cooling and bringing down a temperature and therefore useful to give to children to hold when they have a fever. Blue Lace Agate gem water can also help soothe sore or strained eyes - for when you've been glaring at the screen for too long! Blue Lace Agate is a gentle crystal and generally safe to have around.

Bethra, there is a lot of great information in this thread. How did you learn all of this? I am just curious as to your background on the subject. :)

There is an amethyst that I picked up at a local tarot shop here this summer. It's not faceted at all, it's literally just rock shaped, but I couldn't leave until I found it because I could "hear" it.. if that makes any sense:) It's basically my worry stone... I keep it in my pocket and it definately has a calming effect. Settles my nerves and my feelings better than any pill could. I also noticed that since I've gotten it, no matter how tight things have been monitarily here, I've managed to get by, and things have presented themselves when I've really needed them. I'm not entirely sure that the stone is the reason but it sure appears to be that way. What do you think?

Mithrea, in answer to your question books, web pages and study oh and use of course :) . I've been interested in the use of crystals for a very long time and have found that they really do have a wonderfull effect on some people. It is not for everyone and with some it doesn't work but if you ever have a crystal "call out" to you then my best advice is get it as you probably need it. I am never with out an amethyst when I'm working with my tarot and I have one piece on my altar at all times to link to the spiritual. I have used the stones both for magic and for the mundane and I find they help me visulize my aim. I have no idear if they work just because I and the resipricant belive they will or if they work out of their own magic but I don't care which is correct for me the fact that I have seen them work is enough I don't question the reason.

Bethra
February 6th, 2003, 04:25 PM
Ravens Tear, in answer to your question, yes the crystals do "call out to you". If you have need of a spechial stone it will often make itself known in many different ways. I once kept going back to this one shop over and over again, about 6 times in one day and everytime I felt drawn to this one large peace of amethyst. It was quite big and thus quite expencive and I remember feeling the pull to it incredably strongly. As luck would have it the shop keeper understood the pull of the stones and so put it out of view for me untill I could pay for it all. I now have that stone on my altar and I place it on the table when I do readings and I meditate with it. It was worth the money and yes it has empowered much with it's use. When you are getting your crystals you should never just rush out and buy the first one you see. The right crystal for you does have a particular alure to it. If there are a few pieces in a box pick each one up and feel it the right one will make itself know to you. Never let the glower of an unfriendly shop keeper put you off when sellecting your stones. Take your time look at each one untill you have found the one you like. If the crystal you are chooseing has points cheak that the points arn't chipped as this prevents proper focus. While tumble stones are good for some things raw un polished stones often work better for others. Basicaly go with whatever "calls out to you" as this will work best for you. I will do a seperate thread about cleansing, charging and the use of the crystals in chakra work but I'm just covering the basic stones and metals for now to give you all an idear of what stones are for what reason and then you can go look for the ones you want and I'll tell you how you use them correctly later :)

Bethra, once you get back or any time you have a minute, i have a quick crystal question
My grandfather has prostate cancer and i want to make an elixer that i can put a few drops of in his drink to aid in his healing. What would be the best crystal for healing of that sort? Just a general quartz for immunity and inner healing?
Thanks!

Tranquilaty, I have PMed you but just so that everyone reading this has the answer aswell I'll post it here too (just not in such detail).

Right after your request I hit the books and did some homework, I couldn't find anything that delt with the problem dirrect so I went for a wider view and wittled my list of crystals (which was quite big to begin with ask Tranquilaty) down by verious means untill I was left with two crystals that were in my original lists. By prosess of ellimination I have settled on Clear Quartz and Amethyst being the best choice for this perpose. I have recomended the use of both since two stones are better than one :). Thank you for asking for my help I just hope the information is usefull. I wish you well and I hope the elixcia helps your grandfather and that the crystals do there job.

Two more before I call it a night or morning as the case may be.

Kunzite.
If you are any kind of junkie then make friends with this lithium bearer. It is an excellent balancer for physical, emotional and mental compusisives. It strengthens the cardiovascular system and aids manic depressives by opening up your healing heart and suuendering to your higher self, thus enhancing self-esteem, tolerance and acceptance by its sooting and calming presence.
This ones for all you internet junkies out there :) Ho Hum guess I better get a new one :)

Bethra, I'll be blunt. Is there any proof to any of this? Due to my logical background, I tend to disbelieve any health/medical claims that cannot be proven scientifically. If "crystal healing" causes a placebo effect which works, well great. I know alchemists made gem elixers, but I do not know if they were superstition, like blood-letting, or functional, albeit expensive and extravagant medicines. I fail to see how a rock ripped out of the Earth or the face of a mountain could cure addictions or protect me from harm or danger. I know certain minerals and clays have health effects though. Please elaborate further for me? Thank you.

Hi there SagaDraco, Thanks for your input on this. I too class myself as quite a logical person and have a tendancy to lean towards the need for proof. On the subject of crystals I'm not sure there has been an scienfical proof eather for or against their healing values. I can tell you a little about the science behind the crystals and why a lot of people think they work though. From a personal standing point I'm still unsure as to their full value but I feel that even if they are purely a placebo there is no reason why they should not be used given that all to often the medical practice will hand out pills that are simply placebos but have subtle side effects no one in their right mind would want.

I'll give you the science I have on these stones and as for your views, well you can believe or disbelieve as you see fit.

Crystals are forms that resonate at different levels. All things resonate including the body and illnesses. Crystals are capable of resonating in harmony with other forms. In order for a sympathetic vibration to take place there must be a matching frequency and an overlap of energy between the two materials. An example of this is a tuning fork tuned to the note A when sounded by a piano any sting tuned to that same tone will pick up the vibration and resonate. The crystals work in the same way.
Our organs have vibrations and by waring a crystal of a similar vibration we can strengthen that resonation and thus strengthen the organ. Equaly the different parts of the brain resonate and vibrate at different frequenceys and thus different crystals affect the resonations. That is the basic quantum sicence behind all things and as such that is how crystals work. As to the magical use of these crystals I am as yet unsure but then magic is not a tangable force so it is very difficult to proove or disproove. I gather that it also is a matter of vibrations again and so we must pick out a crystal that vibrates on a fequence similar to that of the magic we wish to recrate. The crystals can store energy as is comamly found in lazers and silicon. Pure grade stones are manufactured for these purposes and act as semi-conductors for the workings of electrical devises. You PC is packed full of silicon chips which are low grade crystals. There for if low grade crystals can be used to store and transmit energy the pure forms can also. Apply this to magic and the princaple is pritty much the same. Magic is an energy and so the crystal can store, transmit and, if vibrating on a similar level, ampilfy the magic we wish to recreate.

Well there is the science I have on the stones for you and if you want to know more please ask I'll do my best to find out anything I don't already know about the subject. Thanks for the input I had planned this to be a kind of discusion so all views are welcome for debate.

I'm going to do a few more of the crystals tonight since I've wrestled the keyboard off my significant other for a few moments.

Lapis Lazuli.
The beautiful star flecked blue of the Night Stone is good for the nocturnal. Whilst strengthening the thyroid and skeletal system it brings vitality and general relaxation to the mind and body. A powerful augmenter of psychic abilities and communicator with the higher self, inspiring greater creative expression and illumination.
This stone has strong links to the Egyptians. Lapis translates as "bluestone" and is a powerfull healer to be used carefully. Those drawn naturally to the stone may develope sensitivity through time or rather heighten what is ready there. Lapis over the centuries has been used to cure depression, blood disorders and skin problems amongst other illnesses. Creating a union between the spiritual and material realms it can be useful in meditations but may bring confusion to the overworked.

Lepidolite.
Like Kunzie this is also the junkies friend. Its high lithium content is an excellent balancer, allowing a gentle withdrawal from compulsive behaviour. It aids the strengthening of muscles in the heart and blood flow, whilst giving expression to your innate inner light and joy.

Malachite.
The green stripes are a clear indication of this mineral's healing power. It aids the functions of the pancreas and spleen, tissue regeneration, circulatory system and assists in a good nights sleep. An excellent balancer emotionaly and physically whilst nurturing visualisation.
Historicaly it was considered a valuable talisman for children, as it would protect the wearer from falls and warn them of impending danger by breaking into several pieces. This stone is calming, soothing and prmotes an inner peace. A good anti depressant and an excellent meditation and dream tool. It cleanses and ampilfies the mood.

Meteorite.
This extraterrestrial alien is literally from outerspace. There is no positive benefits in healing for this burnt stone, although it is claimed by some that it permits the warer to connect with energies from other planets and thus expand the metaphysical awareness.

Moldavite.
The deep green of this Friendly Foreigner indicates a powerful healing stone. It is also a meteorite but in its 15 million years on earth it has picked up a lot of good healing vibrations. A good balancer of the mind and body, it is a gentle assistant to meditation, aligning you with your higher self. A general, if soft, all round tonic for the body and spirit.

Moonstone.
Like Chrysocolla this is a very feminine stone. It brings ease to period pains and kidney disorders, but on a much more fruitful scale with its emphasis on fertility and child bearing. A good emotional balancer it has been described as the Mother Earth stone. A good solid friend inspiring flexibility, nurturing and wisdom, whilst keeping the emotions in balance.
The Moonstone leads towards the requirement to start afresh, this gemstone can help towards clarity of a situation and less confusion between the realms of reality. A symbol of hope and held sacred by lovers, this stone can also reduce fevers, restore health and attract friendship. Naturally the powers of this gem stone are said to wax and wain with the moon.
Historicaly it was believed that if this stone was placed in the mouth when the moon was full it would help find out what lay in store for lovers in their future.

I have just remembered something I should add to my responce regarding proof of weather crystals work. I gather there is a kind of compertition that is on going with quite a hefty pot of cash as a prize for anyone who can provide proof that homiopathic and other such "New Age" healing works. I wonder if anyone knows if they have included Crystal Healing in this or if it was considered too far out to be a runner. Well that's all realy it was just a thought I had and I wondered if anyone else knew about it. Let me know if you have.

Have you used or been incontact with the Gaia stone? And do you have any thoughts on shells? I ask because i was reading something about different uses or particular outcomes of using or wearing of certain shells. loved the thread by the way. Im always interested in crystals. They dont seem to do the traditional calling to me but i always get great vibration while using them to meditate or heal.

I have had no experiance with shells though I do find them an attraction as the do seam to represent the bounty of the Goddess. The Cornacopia if nothing else is a vision of bounty in it's extream. I have no personal experiance with the Gaia stone as persay. Though a friend who has been useing stones and crystals for a number of years has had some wonderfull results. I know what you mean about not finding the crystals to be a calling, for me it has always been very similar. I unertook the thread simply because there was nothing like it at the time and I had so much information and some experiance in their use that I thought it might be nice to share it with everyone here. After all what is the point in knowladge if we don't use it or pass it on? Glad you enjoyed the thread and I will see what I can find out about the use of shells. I'm sure I have something about it someplace.

Never heard of them before myself either. Found this on the internet:

Gaia Stone
Gaia Stone is green obsidian from volcanish ash of the eruption of Mt. St. Helen's, and carries strong Earth energy, even the "soul of the Earth." Gaia Stone enhances Goddess connection, connection with Earth and Earth devas. It also brings prosperity. Gaia Stone is especially good for self-healing emotional wounds and past traumas. Gaia Stone is primarily associated with the heart chakra, but can also be used to harmonize all the chakras.

Thanks!

I would try ruby-zoisite, smokey quartz point, black tourmaline, ruby and shiva lingam in combination - elexirs of all stones to drink, and teh stones to be in bed/pouch during day

Bethra - I've heard that bloodstone is a good gemstone for a healthy pregnancy. I'm also thinking of carrying rose quartz, amethyst, and citrine. What do you think? Do you know of other stones for this purpose?

purple jade
agate

OK, here goes. Must say that this is info I found on the internet and not my own. Hope that that's ok. Would be great if people with personal experiences could add info I think:

Apatite

Apatite is a stone that mystically can stimulate the thoughts and ideas. It is said to increase intellect, imagination, and intuitive awareness. As a meditation or awareness tool It is said to help you maintain focus, learn, concentrate effectively, think clearly, and communicate better. Apatite can be used to enhance the energies of other crystals and stones. Having apatite near you can bring harmony on all levels, and brings inner peace. Apatie is reputed in mystical lore to physically apatite assist with nail problems, allergies, arthritis, bones, muscles, nervous system. Apatite is primarily related to the throat chakra.
• Detoxes suffering from the thymus Chakra and emotional body "not my pain but the world's pain," helps those who feel the Earth's emotions in their bodies

Ok, a rock that had two layers so to speak. You will have to see this in your mind because it was part of the lost collection:

Black rock, worn smooth from the sea. With what looked ;ike some kind of whitish yellow layer. Possibly crysralline. Black part had worm holes, so it had been in the sea along time. I called it gthe Roast Rock, becasue it reminded me of a piece of roast meat with fat on it. Again sorry I c anot give a pic.

I adore crystals and often add them to the wands and staffs I make. Your info on them is really detailed. Thanku!

As many folk on this thread have mentioned Chakra may I ask if anyone has come across Chakra wands and staffs as I sell quite a few to healers?
