Increase in electromagnetism: benefit or drawback to magic?

I believe in healing by manipulating energy. Like accupuncture, accupressure, reiki, laying on of hands, aura manipulation, and such.

Over the past couple of decades, all kinds of equipment increased electromagnetic interference, cell-phones being a good example. The influence this interference can have on intricate machinery like airplanes seems evident. As far as I've heard, some people are conducting studies on the effect of that radiation on the human brain.

Would such radiation help or hurt an activity like energy healing?

And how would one go about measuring such effects? Like, if your cell-phone yields this much energy, then the healing is that much more or less effective?

Did anyone study this already? Opinions?

I would assume that magical energy is not in the electromagnetic spectrum, or it would be more easily detected. For one thing, interference would work the other way and you would expect things like audible static if you used a radio in Circle, monks meditating would have to guard against electric shock, and no religious ceremony could be electronically broadcast. (Not that I would particularly miss CBN.)

On the other hand, I have heard the theory that the reason faeries are so rarely seen now is that most left in the 1800's when railroads became widely used. (Cold iron being deadly to many of them.)

my electro magnetic field has always been out of whack and being natural healers seems to run in my family (as does the whacky electro magnetic field). i can't wear a watch...even expensive ones stop within hours of me putting them on, and it's always beeen that way, since getting into rieki i noticed that it's not all that un-common, my rieki master said that she always had the same problem, and that she in fact did have problems with other electronic equipment shorting out when she did work (we always kept our radio outside of the reiki circle for that reason).now i can feel and manipulate energy and i know there are different kinds of energy, but i don't know how much energies effect one another, or if the electro magnetic field issue is seperate from magical energy field issues, but i do know that i've often shocked (not literally as i'm careful to control it) people with the strength and power of both. maybe more research has to be done into how they efferct one another...

It seems like my sensitivity level increases exponentially when around electronic gadgets even though electrical things tend to go bonkers when I use them.

I have heard songs and advertizement even the whether though a radio was switched off People think I am nuts until they turn it on and hear for themselves. it isn't like these oddities happen only when I am alone - The occurrences do vary for reasons I do not know but they happen in front of other people - thankfully other wise I would have committed myself years ago


When I use glucometers to take patients blood sugars in the hospital I have to set the machine down because if I have it in my hand while it is reading the numbers will be screwed up - even the control solutions will do this. I have replicated these incidents in front of other nurses and supervisors.

I had a bladder scanner go bonkers on me in front of a supervisor - When she held the imaging device the machine operated fine The minute I touched it the machine went crazy - I know these devices are insulated to prevent this but some how or another my electromagnetic fields still manages to create problems - My supervisor first tried to convince me I was trying to hard - How does one try to hard to hold a scanner over a patient's bladder second of all how would the machine an inanimate object detect trying? I found her theories even less likely than my interference one!

I can not wear watches - the old fashion wind ups will run backwards for a time then stop completely - The battery operated watches will keep irregular time in short order after I put it on with in days they will stop running all together. The effects can be slowed with a leather ban between me and the watch itself but within a month it will happen anyway

This effects every thing from my EKGs to life expectancy of my PC and monitor. I do find my energy increases while the gadgets decrease or get jumbled.
