by title I mean the words under your avatar. what do they mean when translated, what do they mean to you personally?
Myself, "The last sartin" is because Im the last heir of my house... only been one man each generation to have kids (atleast male kids) for about the past 12 generations or so. It is (or was) a portugese minor house. strange thing is even though its portugese, its also spanish for frying pan.
so how bout you?

Greetings:
ya know in this day and age of long winded explanations about one's chosen - usually eclectic - path
(note - eclectic is something "available" these days..used to be that such was not the case LOL)
but
my point is...
I feel it necessary to be very clear and straight forward...
no guessing
no games
no "got milk" type of cryptic messages
just call me========= Witch
*good question BTW*

Well, mine is sorta eplanitory, if you know where I'm coming from.
Arcadian is a religin that is almost dead, besides myself, there are only 6 others who practice it.
My husband isn't Arcadian, though he does agree with most of the prinipals.
Anyways, the only other woman who had been Arcadian died last summer, leaving me the only one, so I call my self queen.

I think mine's fairly self-explanatory. I studeously mind my own business. I have little to no patience with those who don't return the favor. As long as people leave me and mine alone, they have little to fear from me. I'll put up with a fair amount of b.s. directed at me. People often mistake this for weakness. Sooner or later, however, I'm going to run out of patience. Then I'll let my antagonist have both barrels at point blank range. My thinking is that, after spending so much time hounding me, they should have realized that I would eventually blow up. If they insist on messing with someone close to me, though, gods help them. They're going to need it. I have an exceedingly short fuse when it comes to that.

Mine tends to change every couple days. . . *chuckles*
Tonight, rather, this morning. . . it is "a cello and a piano?" because I am wondering. . . many things *smiles softly* piano is the instrument I play, and the quote in my signature is about the one who plays a cello. :) I wonder many things about the piano and the cello.

Mine means exactly what it says...I am rebellious, and I am an Aquarian....my rebellion has toned down quite a bit since my teenage years, but infringe on someone's personal rights, or the consistent corruption that surrounds this country...you see the rebel come out real fast! I have tolerance for quite abit, but some htings just set me off....I see no reason why their can't be a common ground in any situation...and I am willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish that if it makes society as a whole better...:elf: :elf: :sunny: :sunny: :boing: :boing: :boing:  :smoke:

mine is a translation of my MW name. When I was first joining. I already had a list of names I made up. Yeah, I'm weird like that, I like to make up names. Maren Themah just seemed to 'call out' to me. Thus, it became my username here. Then there was a thread asking us what our usernames meant. I got curious, and went to www.babynames.com or some such site. Turns out I accidentally named myself "Sea Queen".

I tend to change mine as frequently as I change my avatar. (Quite often.) But this current one, Sorceress, comes from me reminiscing about the Sorceress in He-Man. I typed Sorceress into the Google Search, and I pulled up Polgara, a sorceress in the Belgariad (which I must someday read....). I loved her hair and expression, so I used the image I found. I just cropped out the while owl on her right hand and changed the background from white to royal blue.

Mine's currently "Wakka wakka." My Love always cracks up when I say that. ;) So it's pretty much me goofing off.

Water and Fire Entwined - mine's actually pretty complicated, though it may seem simple. I am very much a Water. Everything about me is Watery and I adore Water. My Love is a Fire and he insists that I have a heart of Fire - that is, of passion and Love and flame. I believe the two of us have such a special bond that we are Water and Fire Entwined. *shrugs*
The title I had before this was "Granola Girl." My Love has a knack for charming very young girls (okay, that sounds really bad!) of about age 7 to love and respect Nature and the animals of the world. A few of the little girls down the street from him developed little crushes on him and he managed to teach them a lot about Nature and animals and the Goddess. We used to joke that I was the oldest Granola Girl he had ever hooked. ;)

Eh mine is a highly inside joke with my bestest friend in the world. "Blue Chicken" is what I normally refer to myself in emails after a conversation Samantha made. She did this whole prolonged random speach at lunch that ended with her whispering "and the chickens went....boom..." it was hilarious at the time, and then we started making jokes with animals and stuff and Blue Chickens stuck, I dunno. =D

My thingymajiggy came about from two things.
1. Came across some pagam bumper stickers. One being Beam me back Merlin
2. Had just recently finished a double trilogy (does that work?!) by Traci Harding in which Myrddin featured.

I try to change my avatar with the seasons, more or less. but my tagline is just what it says. Been writing since 3rd or 4th grade, that I can remember. Been pub. in a few minor mags, and am about 2/3 done with the horror novel. If the house was on fire and after I got the kids out, I *would* go back in for the diskette/hard copy, even if the roof was caving in. :ghost:

mine usually changes often but as of recent I have just stuck with Undead King... it's part joke and part reality...
in Just Silly a few months back and made a campaign for Emperor and the Almight Empress Old Witch put an end to that!!!
but in the course of things I somehow was tagged with Undead King and it stuck...
the reality part is it's how I feel like lately... just kinda going through the motions with no real drive or passion... kind of undead... therefore, I'm the undead king...

Heart Dancer means a lot of things.
I feel things acutely, and I tend to act on the convictions that I get from those feelings. So in a sense I dance to the tune of my heart.
Also, for example, when I listen to a piece of music that I really like, some people will say something along the lines of "oh, yeah, I like this song" and will be tapping their feet along with the music. I usually would look just thoughtful to someone observing me, but if I identify enough with the piece then on the inside I am bound up in every note letting it carry me away, because for me foot tapping doesn't suffice, for me most dancing still wouldn't suffice. Hence "Heart Dancer."

Outsider is just a statement of fact that I have come to realize after a long time. I don't really belong anywhere very well, and that is not likely to change. I used to wonder why on a larger level, & then I realized that if you are truly part of a group, you can't really see it objectively from the outside and know the truth. There is a reason for everything. So I don't fight it anymore.

Well, mine's pretty self-evident, I guess. :p
I'm an Agnostic that got curious about Witchcraft/Wicca/Paganism...
The main thing is that I didn't want to misrepresent myself. I didn't want to be the sort of person where when someone says "Oh, a spell went wrong" to nod sagely and say "Yeah, I hate it when that happens" when in fact, I know damn-all about the subject.
I know very little, I'm here to lurk & learn. :) Well, and comment on things that aren't necessarily magick-specific. People being people, there are still many conversations I can contribute to.:D
I also hang out at an Atheist/Agnostic BBS, I figure going to both boards keeps an interesting balance. :)

Goddess of the Mins....
I don't know if you get mins anywhere else other than Scotland. In Glasgow they're called Neds, in Edinburgh they're called Schemies and in Aberdeen, we call them bams or Mins, because that's what they say a lot, they call everyone min, e.g. 'Aye, min, how's it gaun?'
You can generally spot a min by the following criteria.
1) They wear tracksuits but never do any exercise other than running from the police due to vandalism etc
2) They hang around in groups
3) They wear white sports socks and tuck the legs of their tracksuit bottoms into them.
4) if it's a male Min he'll be wearing a baseball cap, usually a Burberry one
or if it's a female min she'll be wearing very large gold earrings
5) People who are not from said town in Scotland will not be able to understand them as their accents are so broad.
6) They generally hang around outside corner shops, for example, the Spar or the Alldays.
The reason I'm the Goddess of the Mins is because, living in Glasgow, I'm the only Aberdonian around who calls them mins and all my friends find it hysterical and call me a min all the time.
Sorry, I know that's really random. I might think of a different title.

i have an amazing connection to trees.
i don't think i always knew this...or if i did i forgot it in my teens.
i was really disconnected to the earth and nature during junior high and high school.
at some point, when i was about 23, i had this amazing experience. my friend was driving, and i was sitting looking out the window, and all of a sudden the trees were 3 dimensional. it was like i had been living in a flat, boring, black and white drawing all my life, and suddenly the trees were pop up book style! since then, i have continued to have amazing experiences with trees...
i saw my grandmother in a tree about a week before she died...
i can feel the energy of trees when i drive by them, like spiderwebs stringing all over me...
i can feel the essence and vibration of plants and trees, or at least i am starting to now.
and i feel very much like a sprite in life...so there you are!
