Being the property of three female cats, I get a lot of "Cat Watching" done. They are more than happy to entertain their slave with endless hours of weirdness, silliness and just plain "WHAT WAS THAT???" ...

One of the silly things is to watch them sleep, which one of them often does on top of the monitor, right in front of me.

Sheena used to sleep on top of the scanner, until she kept rolling off, now she sleeps on the monitor, but not over the vents  .

Sheena makes weird noises and grunts in her sleep and she always licks her chops.

Millie is the young one and she is always sleeping at my feet, until company comes then she feels compelled to clean herself in front of everyone. This is sooooo typical and soooooooo funny.

Unfortunately Miss Kitty is so boring. She is no fun to watch at all.

I love my little angel kitty, Grey Lady. She's so funny. She keeps me in stitches all day long. I live in a townhome with a "split foyer entry". Her favorite thing to do is to "rev up" in the bedroom in the upstairs, then rush down the hallway, fly down the stairs and "carpet surf" across the entry ~ down the 2nd stairs and ending up "killing" a chair in the dining room. 8O 8O

You say that Miss Kitty is boring but she may be too proper and don't feel that it is appropriate for her to behave in such ways that would make her appear "goofy" and undignified in front of her servant..... I bet she has this "I'm better than you" air about her her? You gotta love her for it.... :bigredgri

I had 6 indoor cats (and a dog who thinks she is a cat) at one time. We just have three now. Each of them have their own personality but they are all just cool. I had one cat Zeus who ate all of my plants (only to throw them all in various places over the rug). PJ, short for Pearl Jam, can sniff out styrofoam 100 feet away. Like styrofoam has a scent???? He, like Zeus, would eat it, and then throw it up all over the carpet. PJ also *has* to sleep either on my mousepad, on top of my hand, or on my keyboard as i try to type. Has too. It is in the PJ Guidebook. Ziggy, short for Danzig, would play fetch with a tin foil ball for hours. Then I have Scarlett O'Hara, a calico, who can be as er, bitchy as her namesake. And we just had to have Rhett Butler, a grey and white tabby complete with grey mustache, put down Sunday. You can tell my cats are really missing him. My dog too. Rhett used to clean my dog, Harley, a 40 pound mutt. :)

My dog is the one to watch when she is sleeping. She twitches, snorts, rolls her eyes, her stomach growls.... and she is a bed hog. I don't know why we keep her LOL! just kidding, she is my baby. Oh and she eats sofas. ;)

Did I babble enough about my pets? Cuz if I didn't I can always talk some more....

Chris, thinking she will shut up now

oh, they are hours of entertainment, aren't they!

Hmmm...my cats do all sorts of bizzar things. You have to love them...Especially on those chilly NE nights when they all (3 of them and 2 over 13 lbs a piece) want to cuddle under the blankets....ah...heaven!

Can't wait for winter!

I am being forced to change my environment for my renegades :apirate:. I have 3 boys and they are dear hoodlems. I am in the process of selling off all of my stuff, and being an interior designer, I have lots of it. I need to go for stark because everything hits the floor at some point. Han tries to climb my curtains. He and Lando wrestle eachother and it rages into a "Clash of the Titans" worthy battle that ends up in lots of flying objects, and Luke, although much calmer, is often a klutz. Yeesh!!! I also need to trade in my carpet for ceramic tiles because we have been battling fleas and worms here, and the worm treatment makes Luke sick. :( . I wouldn't trade them for the world!!! :heartthro :heartthro :heartthro

My cats bore me to death. All they do is sleep and eat. But I love them dearly!:heartthro:heartthro:heartthro:heartthro

Stanley is a Himalayan that use to be a show cat but now he's getting in his share of playing in the dirt. :bigredgri He is an indoor/outdoor cat spends over half the day roaming the back yard birdwatching and eating grass then he will scratch at the door come in and "meeeooooow" which means he wants a hotdog or some sort of reward. He also has a remark for anything that you say to him....he always replies with the same "meeooow". Stanley is lovable when he's tired and sleeps on his back with his paws curled in the air but in an instent he gets in these "full of piss and vinegar" moods. He runs through the house attacking carpets, chairs, and the dogs butt with his eyes huge as the sun.  He loves to play in the rain but hates a bath  and of course loves his brush.
