Mars in retrograge motion

Retrograde Mars will continue from May 13th to July 19th, this year. Any planet in retrograde (appears to be moving backwards) motion, for some unexplained reason, seems to loose its power that it normally expresses druing its times of regualr, forward motion through the Zodiac. However, Mars, when encountered, or any other planet in retrograde motion, indicates a time of review and, even more so, having to deal with situations that one has generated in the past, those things ruled by that planet. In brief, Mars imposes aggression, emotional stress, impatience, combat, interference, frustrations, exploitations, and irritations. He can also impose pain and physical discomfort when quartered (90 degrees) to one's Natal Ascendant, and in particular when in major aspect (conunction, opposition, square, or trine) with the the current positon of one's Secondary Moon. (For those who do not know how to find your current Secondary Lunar longitude, look in your Planetary Ephemeris , and count the number of days from your birth, reckoning each day as a birthday-to- birthday year. Therefore, if you are 24 years of age, count 24 days from your birthday, and this resultant date's Lunar positions will show you an approximation of your Secondary Lunar Zodiacal longitude. To find its more exact placement will require some math using usual Astrological calculations , which I will be happy to demonstrate through an E-mail request.) Mars will most affect, sometime during its retrograde motion, those whose birthdays fall between Dec. 7-21, June 6-21, Sept. 8-22, and March 8-20. Also those of you with a natal (Tropical) Asendant of between 15 to 29 degrees of the (Tropical) Mutable signs. (There is always danger of becomeing physically injured druing a Mars transit to one' s natal Ascendant.) It is a time to prepare oneself to be at ease (as much as possible) , do not take on more responsibilities than you already have. Stay free of becoming involved in any situations (if possible) that may tax your patience, and otherwise may impose irritatable conditions. The most important thing to remember is to "keep cool", do not allow yourself to become hurried about anything -take your time about engaging life' duties, and try not to allow frustrating and pressing situations to take over your consciousness and emotions. Avoid arguments at all costs and avoid causing problems for others, as this will only inflame an already irritable situation. For those of you who have your natal charts handy, the position of Mars in conunction or in major aspect to any of your natal planetary positions often foretells (but not inevitably) an attack, or more common ,an exploitation of those things which the affected planets and Luminarys rule. Particular days to be watchful of, are May 27-29, June 13-14, and June 27-30. The first half of June places particular vulnerability to spend too much money on some pet project or a time, through necessity, to cover indebtedness, and is also indicative of being involved in a victorious hassle, but gained only through much difficulty.

Mars has one purpose -- ACTION!!

Mars, the energy that helps you go for it and express your desires, doesn't like to be stopped and turned inward; this concept makes no sense to Mars (are you seething with anger yet??).

When Mars stations and travels Retrograde, it's excited, active energy becomes covert and calculated; it's motives are hidden.

Careful -- inwardly turned outward-bound energy can become toxic!! Positively, Mars Retrograde can give you a chance to think before acting; to assess your motives and aggressions; to find your inner demons and send them packing. Indecision and delays can be an clue that you need to make better plans -- back to the drawing board!! with patience ;)

So lets look at some keywords..... and note that all of these changes are in air and fire signs , so different energy than when in water, or earth is working here as well,and the specific signs give us major information as to what areas these revisits involve.

This energy is Sagittarian, the fire sign of action and movement, and this energy doesnt stay on details,but always wants the BIG picture,and
then wants to move on, so for Mars in Sag to retrace their steps ,
means they missed some important vital info and are going back to get it,or may mean time to re-examine the direction entirely if one is feeling lost.
Uranus = unexpected , surprises, creative energy,
sudden changes, progress and technology..........and future thinking

our small planet. Just as Galileo pointed out that
the sun does not revolve around the earth ,and thus opened the way for reality to once
again join the spiritual, we now KNOW (Aquarian key word) that there is a fifth movement of the earth .. the galactic movement, and we dont yet
KNOW which direction that is ( and it just occured
to me or if we have any influence on that direction).

Perhaps the royal family of Katmandu, Nepal should have read our collective analysis! Also of international concern is the Philippine Army's attack on rebel-held southern Islands in an attempt to dislodge them and their military garrison hold up in a hospital.

Merry Merry,
Involved in that Nepalese family tragedy,that involves the family fortune ( as in fate )
that was supposed to play out to the 11th generation, and this is the 11 generation of the family since the legendary curse. It involves the rivalry of two clans,and is not unlike the Romeo and Juliet story, in that the original story involved a couple from the rival clans that were not permitted to marry, 11 generations ago.
The Phillipine action sounds ominous as well,but I am hopeful it will be resolved, and
I am glad that Arafat; for whom I hold but little affection, is at least asking for a cease fire in the Middle East.
I am very much looking
forward to the coming eclipse on Solstice, as I think the effect will surprise quite a few people , who least expect it , or possibly expect something else :>.
The combination of the retrogrades and this eclipse will produce some unusual effects.
I think that the areas under the influence of the eclipse will experience very forward movement of thinking, about their home lives,and reclaiming is possible, for many of the displaced, and disinherited of their homeland.This is already evident at the global level; that feeling of home and belonging in the global
village,which is in our homes now as we share voices with each other world wide.
