Haindl tarot

This is one of four decks I have my greedy eyeballs on. However I have been all over the net checking out images of them from different review sites and shoppes. I think I like them however several of the images are so fuzzy I can't tell whats in them. I am hoping this is just a graphics problem and in reality they are not that fuzzy. I don't mind it for artistic quality as long as I can make out the imagery. Someone who has this please tell me the images are clearer than that.

Also thinking about Goddess Tarot(might be a bit too feminine for me, being a bit of a tomboy).. Tarot of the Renaissance really appeals to me though not any of the other renaissance decks...just not my style art, them others....And Bucklands Romani tarot...Really like the bold imagery on that one!!!

i love the Haindl deck, especially the trumps.
but the watercolor images are very soft/ethereal, so that might not be what you're looking for. however, there's no great difficulty in making out the various symbols (which are rich).

if you get this deck, try to get the two volume set of books by Rachel Pollack as well, they are wonderful!

Well actually thats what I like about the deck. I know its opposite to the Romani deck but I am versitile like that. It's just looking at all the sites some of the cards just seem to be color and it looks like an image but I can't make it out. It's not my eyes cause they are good:).

no, it's a great, Thoth-based deck with superb symbolism. there are also astrolgical AND I Ching correspondences, which makes it a great meditation deck too (imo).

I love my Goddess Tarot deck. I have others that I use from time to time but this one's my favourite.

Greenman, I love my Thoth deck and I am very excited about getting the Haindl. I am not very familiar with the astrological and I ching symbolism but it appeals to me greatly and is something I have an interest in persuing, pursuing, pursueing(er, whatever).

Wildchild, I have heard from so many people that LOVE their Goddess Tarot deck. I do like the artwork but things real feminine like kinda, er, give me creepy feelings. Moody broody cancer girl with a tomboy attitude. I just am afraid of I will shell out money for them and they will be too girly for me. I don't know enough about them. The artwork I have seen is very good though.

When i first seen the Haindl on websites.. i was like god why does everyone make a fuss over THAT it's horrible! And thats because the imagery on the net was all crap... and it didn't look much at all!
But when i went to the witchy shop near me and seen it properly,i fell in love! It is a beautful deck,and as i keep saying the internet doesn't give it much justice!

I've thought about getting the goddess tarot,but it's never really jumped out at me,i only go for decks that really stand out to me.
