ok phoenix, here is your past life reading. let me know if it seems like you, or if it TOTALLY doesn't, i will do another throw...
1. you then: king of coins~
this past life feels like it is in the islands. there is a predominance of worship for the gods of the sun and moon, and a strong feeling of a volcanic deity. so it could be hawaii and pele, but it could be a different island area. i'm getting you were a priest of one of these deities. not necessarily a high priest of the whole tribe, but a specialty priest connected to the volcanoe god/goddess. your main priorities were sacrifice, worship, and maintaining peace in the village. so you acted as a judge in a lot of disputes, and answered the many questions of your tribe. you were very wise and just. also quite a prankster. it's funny, i can't remember anyone having this type of energy; where you are one in a leadership role, yet very apt to be the one who put snakes in someone's bed, or put pinto beans in the pot that holds coffee. have you ever messed with someone's coffee before? that seems to be coming up!
anyway, you smoked some type of herb as a yummy cigar, and used flowers and fruits as medicine.
i don't know if your people had a written language, but there were many stories told, and you helped pass this tradition on. maybe pictures were involved.
2. your life: 5 of swords~
in so many cultures, the shaman or spiritual leader emerges from unlikely places; a sickly child, a deformed person, an unathletic person who wouldn't normally survive the wilds. i don't get the feeling you had anything wrong with you physically, but there may have been some question about your family line or birth.
perhaps some in the community didn't think you worthy because of your family's status...yet it was obvious to the elders that you were the one to be the intercessor for this god. also, it could have been that they found you, and this is what i'm leaning toward. i think one of the villagers found you as a baby, probably a neighboring tribe somehow lost you, and you were raised in this tribe. while the elders see this as a sign that you are "the one", others resented the fact that an outsider would be the spiritual go between for them.
3. your surroundings: the devil~
so here you are, totally not fitting in most of your life. and yet this strengthens your soul and character, and causes you to be even more wise than the boys your age. for the longest time you didn't want to stand out or be different, you wanted to blend in with the crowd. but eventually you just decided to be who you were, and finally this led you to a position of power. i think you retained a sense of lightness and silliness because it helped those in your village accept that you were "above" them. but you wanted to be accepted, so kept pulling pranks on people so they couldn't take themselves too seriously.
4. relationship then: hierophant~
relationships taught you so much, and so little. i don't think you held much importance in marriage...i do think you had a significant other, but you didn't worry about it like others did. you took things as they came and didn't spend your life moaning or complaining or expecting to be left. you had a great love life because of this.
you also learned what to prioritize because of your relationships. spirituality and the daily life and safety of your village was important, and little troubles and fights over possessions and ownership never came into your mind. you were a good person to take troubles to, because you were always able to put things in perspective for people.
5. your death: the fool~
actually i get the feeling you were out when the moon was at a certain stage...either full, or new, or whatever, and you were harvesting plants for things you needed. i'm feeling like you were killed either by an animal that caught you out late and unaware, or by a sudden failure in your body. sorry, i can't decide which it is. anyway, you passed pretty quickly without much pain, and when your body was found, the village gave you the utmost honor in however they treated the remains. you were OLD, so had lived a really good life.
6. is this past life affecting you now? knight of coins~
well, you may be headed in that direction again. not that you are a priest of the gods! or are you? :)
but you probably have good delegating abilities, and an interest in seeing the little menial things of life put into their right place. you may be a writer, and encourage others to follow their paths no matter how off the main stream they seem. do you write? maybe you should be if you aren't.
help me on this...there is something feathery or hairy here...either you have funny, wild hair, or something is going on with something feathery. does that make any sense?

well yeah, you don't like fighting. or maybe it's more specifically competition, arguments, threatening situations.
you may think you are a passivist, but i think it is more that you have to find your own style and way of asserting your opinion. when you are comfortable with the way you do this, then you actually have a very strong opinion and good leadership tendencies. i'm sort of getting the feeling you may have been a moderator in your family, always the one to solve the arguments. you may have resented that at times, but just like in that life, this has made you stronger and you might be good in government or political arenas.
8. Challenge/goal PL presents you with: 3 wands~
this life may have caused you to be similar to what you were then...one who wants to take each moment as it is, for what it is. you need to experience everything, in almost a romantic way. you need to think about and talk about everything, because you need to fully experience it. this helps you from getting caught up in the "little things" that keep up from our goals. here is your phoenix symbol...why did you pick that? it is important in your goals...you have a strength that perhaps others don't acknowledge, understand, or tap into.

well, again, this is your ability to concentrate on things that "matter" in your world, and let other things go.
you are well disciplined in certain areas, and ... how old are you? seems you are coming into something new...like finding out you have a talent you didn't know you had, or a desire to do something you'd never considered. this is coming up all of a sudden, and taking you by surprise. go with it and see where it leads...you don't necessarily have to be "the expert", but you may learn something you need later through this experience.
also here is the ability to see through people, see their motives. this probably helped you back then with disputes...now it helps you know where to put your energy and where not to.
