Mabon

Hello to everyone! Just thought I'd say 'hi' and introduce myself since I'm new - I registered about 30 seconds ago.
My name is Mabon, I'm 26 & I live in Scotland. I've been a Solitary Witch for 10 years now, though I've been interested in the Craft ever since I can remember & started researching it seriously when I was 12 or 13 (ever the studious type!). I came out of the broomcloset about 7 years ago & generally found everyone to be pretty cool about it, although my Mother only recently totally accepted it (I think she thought it was a 'phase' I'd eventually grow out of). My fiance, although not a Pagan, has always been very respectful & understanding (clearing out of the apartment so I can practice in peace & quiet without him disturbing me), & though he doesn't fully understand why it's so important to me, he has never said or done anything worse than jokingly calling my library my 'collection of weirdy-wickedy-witchy-books' (lol). We're getting married this August, so we must be doing something right!
Because I've moved around a lot, I found it difficult, in the past, to find other like-minded people on a similar path, but a year ago I started a new job & met a wonderful woman who is also a Witch. She came out of the broomcloset a few months ago. It's great to have a friend to talk about the Craft, debate & compare ideas & rituals.
I've only been on-line for about a year, but in that time I've discovered a whole new world on the web, along with many new friends all on different Pagan Paths. It's been a liberating & eye-opening experience which I hope to continue.....
Hope to talk to you all soon.
