I designed this layout a few days ago. It came about when I was needing some guidence as what to do about a situation that my room mates and I are dealing with because of some in-laws...but that's another story. This layout works well for me. It's one of those choices layouts. I call it "Fork In The Road". I was wondering if someone has seen something similar to it? Anyway, this is what I came up with.

4 6
3 5
-2
-1

Current Road:
Card One: The situation or problem
Card Two: What cannot change in the situation or problem

Avenue one to choose
Card Three: What can be changed in the situation or problem
Card Four: Possible solution or outcome

Avenue two to choose
Card Five: What can be changed in the situation or problem
Card Six: Possible solution or outcome

Awesome. There's one spread, I think on the alt.tarot.faq (I could be wrong) about choosing paths. But I like this one. The simple spreads are the best for me since I read with playing cards and they like to tell their own story. Thanks!

I started learning Tarot about 6 weeks ago when I bought my first deck. I wanted something a bit more than the simple one card spread, but not too complicated to confuse me. So I came up with this spread for 1) Help me learn the cards better...and 2) connect with the cards better. It's helped tremendously for me.

Gonna print it out & give it a try. :)

Thanks for sharing!

I use a spread similar to that. It's very similar to yours, except it adds two cards per path, depicting the reasoning behind each path. I don't remember where I got it from, but it's like this:

6 10
5 9
4 8
3 7
2
1

1) Past or hidden influences on the situation
2) The situation's current influences
3/7)Course of action
4/8)Internal influences on this course(your reasons to choose it)
5/9)External influences on this course(outside reasons to choose it)
5/10)Outcome of the situation if this particular course of action is chosen

This AND the one by Ryhla remind me of the Qabbalistic Tree layout! ^.^ I'm definitely going to write both down and try them. :D

What does the Qabbalistic Tree layout look like? I did a search and came up dry.
