Welcome to all those who are new members!!! I just can't believe how fast the boards are growing these days! We gained 25 people in the last few days ~ that I've kept track of! WOW:eek:
Please join us on the porch ~ pull out one of Kaylara's comfy couch/chair thingies, stay away from the Spam, but make sure you get a glass of Bluecat's lemonade! 8O

welcome, newcomers!
(i divvied it up a bit for easier reading, and, btw, there's some new stuff in the middle of the old.)
~Hello~
welcome! welcome! joyous day!
another one has come to play!
we now have yet one more friend
to speak with to our heart's content!
let us in honor dance this night
of those newly gathered within our light!
may a rhythm be shared by our pounding feet
as our hearts supply the beat.
may our voices intertwine
to create harmonious song, divine.
the fireside we gather 'round
for tales told with and without sound.
after watching a glorious sunrise,
whose vibrant colors tint our eyes,
many are found sipping lemonade
that is by our favorite kitty made;
others may prefer coffee or tea,
but each of us accommodated be
upon the couches by kaylara supplied.
we on the shaded porch reside
snacking on banana-nut bread,
or cookies, cakes or pies instead:
communal chat within the kitchen
is something fun to which to listen.
when one cares to take a walk
on one's own with little talk,
there be infinite grounds to cover,
endless trails to discover;
trees of gnarled perfection to climb,
limb by limb and vine by vine.
there be oceans, there be ponds,
lakes surrounded by flowing fronds;
deepest jungles, forests, orchards,
to each of these do we look forward
to exploring in their times of blooming,
as healers seek under branches looming
those things so small, and yet so large,
that will aid them in the gift in their charge.
mountains, caves, streams and brooks:
each can find their little nooks;
whether roaming the open plains
or taking wing to sing to the rains.
here we can be as we wish to be,
physically, mentally, spiritually.
may we each attain our own perfections
as we consume the scrumptous confections.
the aforesaid munchies, though delicious,
occasionally breed into items pernicious,
but all is good and all is fun
for we can chase them when they run.
multiplicitous are our selves,
into which we are free to delve;
some are quiet, some are loud,
some are meek, some are proud,
some are questing, some are sure,
some outspoken, some demure,
some are hermits, some are helpers,
some are wounded, some are tender,
some are wise and endlessly giving,
some are some of everything,
each are capable and free to change
into what is in their range,
and, in changing, we find anew
that we must unto our souls be true.
