Readings

Well, today I had a lot of fun doing readings for a bunch of people at a party my husband and I went to. Hubby wasn't sure if I should've taken my cards, but I told him everyone loves to get that type of thing done about themselves, and sure enough about ten people wanted me to read for them. Men and women. (Hubby didn't think any men would care.) :)

It was really great practice and gave me my first chance at doing readings for someone other than myself or my husband. Everyone told me my readings for them were pretty accurate. One guy even got teary-eyed when I was doing his b/c the cards were so accurate! Wow!

One thing that surprised me was that after about five readings I got really drained and had to take a break and get something to eat. It was really wild and totally unexpected.

Overall, it was really great! :D

About getting drained ~ Im no expert on this but I do get this allot when reading for people and after magical workings too. Its best to do what you did ~ go and ground yourself with food and drink and take a rest for a few mins!
I think it just happens because you are putting so much energy and/or concentration in, or could be that the people you are reading for are suckign all the energy out of you. Some people need your energy and some dont ~ thats maybe why you probally felt drained after one particular reading?
Its great to give others your energy but after you need to recharge too :D

There was one girl there who wanted me to read for her. I ended up not getting around to it. This particular girl really creeps me out for some reason. I'm not the only one who has gotten this vibe from her either. Anyway, a friend of mine said, "That was pretty slick how you avoided reading for her". I said, "Well, it wasn't intentional, it just worked out that way, but if I were to do a reading for her I'd really have to meditate and ground before hand - put up my psychic defenses as I can just imagine it would drain a lot of my energy.
